If you're like so many hockey parents, getting your kids hockey gear can be expensive. Many of us go to second hand sports stores to buy gear as our kids grow, otherwise its just cost-prohibitive. This set is an excellent alternative! You really save with this set by bundling (I sound like an insurance commercial).On top of that, its from the premier name in hockey.My only gripe is that its "one size fits all", which usually means "one size fits nobody". I have a son and daughter who play hockey, and I bought one of these sets as an experiment. As it turned out, it fit my son perfectly; He's 8 years old, about 4'4" and 65 lbs. My daughter is smaller and this was too big for her.The quality is excellent as you would expect from Bauer. So if you have children in the same general size as my son, I definitely recommend this product.

My four year old son started learn to skate and hockey this year. This whole setup was perfect for what we needed and not overly expensive.

We got this set for our 4-year-old, thinking that we could use it for a long time, but the buttons for the chest protector come undone very easily, causing the gear to essentially come apart while playing. My daughter became frustrated when the chest protector came undone and got in her way. The pants are way too big even after being adjusted to the smallest size. It was a good idea, but not very well executed. We ended up selling and buying Bauer X gear.
