Amazing for my first plunge tub with minor issues
I found this item at an amazing price on Prime Day and couldn’t pass it up. With only 4 reviews I was skeptical but decided to give it a try! This is my first time using an inflatable tub. I was worried it would have the structure of a blow up pool and worried about flopping around in it and being cramped . That’s not the case with this! The structure is amazing! I’m right at 5’10 about and 220 lbs and I fit in there with so much room to spare! I was very impressed with how sturdy it was with just air!Assembly was an absolute breeze. Just hook up the pump and watch the gauge. Took maybe 5 mins to do both the tub and top. After filling it and adding ice it quickly dropped down to 52 degrees and has held strong in this Texas heat for over 3 hours! I’m very impressed by it. So impressed that I felt the need to write a review. Now for the minor issues:My tub came with a small defection. I was pretty bummed to see the rip in the photo. It looked like the siding had melted to the bottom. Today is my first day of it filled so I’m going to see how well it holds and update as I go! I’m hoping it doesn’t damage the structure.White is very white.. obviously. It gets dirty easy but wipes off pretty simple as well. I would’ve opted with the black after having the white one.The lid doesn’t fit well on the tub. It sits on there but there are gaps on both sides of the tub. With that I’m sure bugs and debris will get in as well as lose temperature quicker.Overall it’s a great investment especially for the price I got it for! I would buy it at the 500 dollar price that’s how much I love it. I’ll be investing in the chiller for it as well.Hopefully customer service will read my review and can help with the minor issues I have!

Just do it!
I bought this for my husband for Christmas and he loves it. I chose this one in particular because a) it was reasonably priced, so if he hated it, no big loss, and b) if he loved it, it has the built in connectors for the chiller, should he wish to buy them in the future. This was easy to set up and easy to get in and out of, even for shorties like me! :) Would definitely buy again.

Great tub but bad lid
As others said here, great quality size and everything else outside the lid. It doesn’t fit at all as tub bulges out with water. I have to shove towels in the side to keep cold air in to keep it chilled. Outside that it’s great and u recommend. Would be 5 stars if the lid was better

Really well built and great quality cold plunge.
I’ve been using this plunge in my garage for a few weeks and it’s been great. Way better than my old cheap non insulated, pvc pipe plunge. Once it’s aired up it’s super firm I can hold and push on the sides with no give, the walls are very strong. The lid is also insulated and really helps keep the plunge cold. I pared mine with a cheapo chiller and it’s the perfect setup. Less than $400 all in on this setup. I got the plunge on sale and it was an amazing deal. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to upgrade their plunge. I’m 6’2” 190 and fit just fine I sitting on the bottom my shoulders are underwater.

Excellent product
This was so easy to setup. I had it all ready to go in about 15 minutes and I absolutely love it. It’s the perfect size to manage as a single person. I am 5’8” and it is easy to get into. Shorter people might need a stool to get in and out. Overall an excellent product for the price.

For the price I expected better lid
The media could not be loaded. First thing this thing is huge!!!! It fits me and my wife comfortable. And we dunked our heads. We are both 5’10. Also a friend of mine tried it and he’s 6’4 and he said it was rooming for his legs!So money value… it’s strong, BUT!!The lid doesn’t fit . With all the water in it even half full it flairs out. I’m having to use tie down now in the center to keep it covered so it doesn’t flair. Honestly I see it’s just getting worse as time goes on with water in it. So I recommend everyone to put a strap around the center base!!! Works perfect after that!

Great tub
This review is for the Plunge Magic Ultimate Cold Plunge Tub Inflatable Ice Bath Tub With Cover for Athletes Portable & XL Size, Water Chiller Compatible (Black - Round). I'll break the review into essential parts.Tub: The tub is high quality inflatable structured PVC, the kind used in inflatable crafts for durability and longevity. It will last quite a while with proper care. It has the inlet and outlet for a chiller system built in, and they are quality brass threads. The tub is rather thin walled compared to similar inflatable ice baths, but it is just as sturdy. Inflatable PVC tubs like these are rated for below freezing temperatures, to a maximum of over 130 degrees Farenheit, so it can be a cold plunge or a mini hot tub, just not both within rapid succession. In use the tub can hold the advertised amount of water easily, and does insulate the temperature, hot or cold for hours afterwards, though I have not timed it to be sure. I have many health issues, so contrast therapy has become a very important part of my lifestyle, and this is a low profile tub that still manages to hold a lots of water.Hardware: The hardware is quality, the only minor exception to that is the inlet/outlet plugs are solid plastic, which would be a moot point if the inlet/outlet ports were too, but since they are metal, the plugs ought to be as well for longevities sake.Lid: The lid connects to the tub via what feels and looks like seatbelt fabric and standardized plastic buckles, it inflates just like the tub to what feels to the human touch like a rock solid wall, and requires little maintenance.Carrying bag: This one shines with attention to detail, nice big padded shoulder straps, adjusters, a big sturdy coil metal zipper and pull, a grab handle, internal cinching straps to keep everything together and organized, it was well above and beyond what I was expecting for a way to simply store the tub to and fro.Repair kit: Pretty standard, adhesive patches, two plastic plugs, and a plastic wrench to free stuck inlet/outlet plugs, etc.Pump: The pump is standard other than it having a two mode adjustability.Summary: The tub is easy to set up, take down, and port around with the excellent carry bag. The thin walls allow a lot of water to be stored in it, yet they are still more than sturdy enough for ordinary use, and are chiller compatible. Overall, this is probably going to be my go to tub if I ever want to bring a cold plunge on a vacation.
