Also shorter than I needed, so I wanted to just make my own from a few parts from the local DIY store. Of course, local DIY stores suck, and didn't have the parts. This at least arrived quickly, and had suitably good quality components.The only fault I can point out technically is that the down-cable is made of the same gauge of wire as the run cable, which is quite heavy for smaller dogs (and my large breed pup). I would think the long run cable would need to be heavy gauge to hold both the dog and its own weight over distance, but the down cable could probably be lighter. That said, erring on the side of well-built is good, too.So, just wish it was cheaper, really.
