Very nice looking duo and nice to use.
Fabulous kettle and toaster, I'm super fussy and I loved my old trusty kettle and toaster which had seen better days, so I was always going to be hard to please, but I really am delighted. The kettle has a nice boiling tone, not annoying (my opinion anyway), super to lift and replace on base and remains stable whilst boiling, pours perfectly. I have also noticed there is very little steam escaping from the spout when it reaches boiling point. The matching toaster looks gorgeous and like the controls. Loving the retro look in a very easy on the eye cream. If I had to give a negative then it's the length (width is fine) of the toaster slots, which I knew before purchase, it will take ordinary size bread but the bread I like (Jacksons) is a long slice, but because the toaster is so nice looking and stylish I can overlook this personally and hey - cut my bread in half and use 2 slots, or 4 if I'm having 2 slices of bread. With the matching canisters it's all given a 'lift' to my kitchen.

Kettle is fab. Fast and looks great. Toaster looks pretty but even on the highest setting it doesn’t seem to want to toast my sour dough bread. I have to put it in twice. Does the job eventually.

So noisy
Nice sturdy kettle but it’s so noisy when on shame I’d thrown away the packaging otherwise I’d have returned the kettle.

Unpleasant odour
I like the look of the kettle and it boils well, however, there is something wrong with this product. No matter how much I boil it, clean it with bicarbonate of soda (as per makers instructions) can’t get rid of the smell or taste in the water. A burnt metallic odour that’s very unpleasant. I’ve never owned a kettle like it ! This has resulted in me having to buy a new kettle by another manufacturer, very annoying as I bought it as a set with toaster, the toaster is fine, hate the kettle.

Awful taste from this kettle
Build quality is great, holds a lot of water. But absolutely awful metallic taste. No amount of boiling, soaking or cleaning with vinegar, bicarbonate of soda, etc will make it taste any better. Ended up having to reuse my old kettle as his one was just horrendous.

Fantastic kettle and toaster
Perfect. Couldn't fault. Very happy with my purchase. The only issue I didn't plan for is the plug change as it is from England, and I'm in Australia 😅
