What is the size of the opening at the lid?** A: no the opening is 2 5/8 " **Q: Can you put this on the stove?** A: No, this cannot go on the stove- it is ceramic. **Q: What size tea infuser would fit in this?** A: unfortunately, I have the teapot with the small lid and O have not been able to find an infuser that fits. the lid would not fit with one. It is so cute and the color is beautiful. It does not come with a infuser but I already had some, so that was not a problem for me. The lid does have a tab to keep it in place when you pour, and the pot pours just fine. I was able to brew 4 cups in it this evening, so it is great for sharing tea.
