I just got this 10 minutes ago and can confirm that it does work on the Amazon Basics vacuum bags if you use the adapter that comes with the vacuum. It definitely does not pull as much vacuum as the hand pump does (probably 90% as much). But it is faster and has a smaller form factor which is what I was looking for.

Excellent product. Worked just fine. It helped alot

The vacuum is slick, and semi powerful. It’s small and can be thrown in a bag on the go. My problems with it is its suction ability and strength. The vacuum doesn’t have a threaded connect in, only a slip on cover which gives it more of an area where it’s sucking from. This is an issue as it prevents it from taking more air out of the bags. In my experience using it, it fails to compress what I’m vacuum sealing (comforter blankets and memory foam pillows) instead it sucks it to the point where the bag is somewhat tight around the object. As for the battery life I have not had any issues with it. And the device is easy to use, but not amazing at what I’m trying to accomplish. With this in mind, I can understand it being more useful on items that don’t require it to be compressed like dried food. Otherwise I don’t hate it, but it doesn’t accomplish what I want it to do.

UPDATE: The seller reached out and offered a full refund. When recording a video to demonstrate the issue, I realized that I was charging this product incorrectly! You MUST use the provided USB to USB-C cable. I was attempting to charge with a USB-C to USB-C cable, and this resulted in what I am assuming was too much input for the charging port. Proof it worked incredibly well… until it didn’t. This pump worked perfectly as advertised, and the high powered vacuum mode, combined with the slow draw, managed to get more air out of my vacuum bags than any other pumps I’ve tried. HOWEVER, I was on a trip using this pump quite often, and it eventually ran out of charge as expected. But when I plugged it in to recharge, nothing occurred. I tried multiple cables, power adapters, and leaving it overnight, but the battery simply would not charge. I believe I received a product with a defective charging port, as no lights would show indicating the charging process once plugged in.

It took me awhile to test it. To my dismay it doesn't work I charged it twice still nothing. I've had it too long to return it.

Great and Practical Product! I bought this for traveling, and it’s been perfect. It’s compact and easy to carry, yet surprisingly powerful. The fact that it’s rechargeable makes it even more convenient to use on the go.

Pump worked very well. Recently used on a trip overseas. After evacuating 4 suitcase bags, 4 of the 5 battery charge indicator lights were still lit. Used multiple times on same trip and worked well each time.
