At 52, post-menopausal, with dry, mature skin, I’ve tried just about every “plumping” serum out there — including a lot of products centered around Volufiline, which I’ve been particularly focused on lately. That’s actually why I picked this up. I wanted to see how it compares. And it does more than compare — it outperforms. But it’s important to set expectations correctly. This is not a corrective, long-term restructuring serum like a growth factor product (think TNS or Calecim). It’s not rebuilding your skin at a cellular level, and it’s not going to erase deep wrinkles permanently. What it does is different. And honestly, for what it’s designed to do, it does it extremely well. This is an immediate + short-term plumping and smoothing serum that gives the skin a fuller, more supported look — and it does it in a way that actually shows on the face. The texture is key here. It has that slightly cushiony, gel-serum feel that spreads easily and absorbs without heaviness. It sits beautifully on the skin and layers well, which matters because this is the kind of product you see both instantly and throughout the day. From an ingredient standpoint, this is a very smart formula. You’ve got multiple forms of hyaluronic acid (including crosspolymer and acetylated HA), which work at different levels to hydrate and create that immediate surface plumping effect. There are peptides like acetyl hexapeptide-8 and palmitoyl tripeptide-1/tetrapeptide-7, which support smoother-looking skin over time. Niacinamide helps with tone and overall skin clarity. Ectoin and saccharide isomerate are strong hydration and stress-protection ingredients that help the skin hold onto moisture better — which is especially important for mature skin. Then you have barrier-supporting lipids like ceramides, along with soothing ingredients like colloidal oatmeal, bisabolol, and centella. There are also antioxidants (green tea, resveratrol-rich grape extract, kakadu plum, glutathione) layered in, which support overall skin health and help offset environmental stress. And importantly — there are gentle exfoliating acids (glycolic, mandelic, lactobionic) in lower amounts, which help refine the surface so the skin looks smoother and reflects light better. That combination is what makes this work. It’s not one hero ingredient — it’s how everything is working together. In terms of results, this is where it stands out. Skin looks immediately smoother, slightly fuller, and more even. Fine lines — especially dehydration lines — look softened. There’s a noticeable “filled in” effect, but it doesn’t look artificial or tight. It just looks like better skin. And unlike a lot of temporary plumping products, this doesn’t disappear in 30 minutes. It holds throughout the day, especially when layered under moisturizer and SPF. It also makes makeup sit better. Foundation goes on smoother, doesn’t settle into lines as quickly, and overall the skin just looks more refined. Compared to Volufiline-based products, which tend to work more subtly over time (and often inconsistently depending on formulation), this gives a more reliable and visible result. That’s really the difference. Volufiline can be hit or miss. This is immediate and repeatable. Price-wise, this is not inexpensive — but in this case, I actually think it earns it. A little goes a long way, and the performance is there. Who is this best for? Dry skin, mature skin, anyone dealing with dehydration lines or loss of volume who wants an immediate improvement in how their skin looks day to day. Who may not love it? If you’re looking for long-term structural change or deep wrinkle correction, this isn’t that. It’s not meant to replace stronger treatments. But for what it is — a high-performing, well-formulated plumping and smoothing serum — it delivers. This is one of those products where you see the difference right away, and then keep reaching for it because it consistently makes your skin look better. And that’s why, for me, it’s absolutely worth it.

it’s super good my wrinkles barely show but I don’t have much and my lines on my forehead i did it good

I'm in my seventies, and I noticed fine lines around my mouth (in particular). Aging is inevitable, but I really hated those old lady lines around my lips. I tried a number of products, and finally gave in and tried this more expensive one. It has actually helped. Short of a face lift and injections of fillers (neither of which I'm prepared to do), this has worked as well as one could expect. The skin on my entire face looks fresher, more youthful and less wrinkled. This product seems to have effectively plumped up some of those fine lines. Having said that, no one is going to mistake me for twenty-five. I do look better than I did, however!

This serum leaves skin well prepared for moisturizer and makeup. It leaves skin smooth soft diminishes wrinkles and redness. It has a nice blurring effect similar to a primer.

My go to product! I always come back for more! My face looks and feels great!
