This is great and my 10lb dog does like it but she can't stay in it outside for too long because she gets hot.I have 3 issues with it that I would definitely look into in more detail if I ever get a product like this again.1. It's a lot of plastic, using this outside in the sun could be dangerous if the doors are zipped. The black bottom attracts heat and even though there is a lot of ventilation from the top and sides, it still gets too hot.2. The netting is not bug proof. The holes are too big so it kind of defeats the purpose of me having this outdoors for her, mosquitoes and small biting flies can get in.3. The top is open, which is great for air flow but doesn't provide any sun protection for the pet inside.All in all, this is a good design but the materials and some of the details were not thought through. It's a 3.5 for me. It would work great indoors or on a patio but not anywhere outside where there isn't a tree canopy and the bug thing.... well different materials could allow for tighter netting AND air flow.

This is a fantastic portable option for your furry friends. It assembles and tears down really easily. Sort of reminds me of putting together a tent. The entire thing fits neatly into a small bag. There are a bunch of little poles that you connect in the center (they actually give you a few extras). Slide these into little grooves on each side of the enclosure. This provides a very sturdy frame. Both sides and the top have zippered doors/fabric that allow for easy access. The overall fabric is really thick and can stand up to a lot of abuse (from hyper puppies no-doubt). Teardown is simple as well. Even comes with some stakes to keep it in place outside. I'll be taking this on all my camping trips!

I'm using this for 2 kittens we adopted - they're blind and love being outdoors but simply can't be outside any more... I use this when I'm in the garden or on the deck so they can sort of feel "outside." It goes together fairly easily - it's not an instant pop up tent, and you have to ensure the metal rods go in correctly... The mesh netting is good but they do love to climb it and I also notice that some bugs can get inside of it when we're in the garden. I'm also not sure of how well it breathes with the type of plastic it's made of.... So I don't use it when it's too warm outside. It's got lots of room for 2 little 6 mo old kittens - and it's temporary , only for outdoors, but I'm sure this would be great inside too. I do get nervous when they climb the mesh panels - it seems to pull parts of the sides in, so I don't know how long they have in here... maybe another month or so.....

I love this pop-up playpen for my tiny puppy. So easy to set up, or fold up for travel. It’s durable enough for my toy breed dog, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a larger puppy/dog who can chew through fabric/mesh.

I wanted a more comfortable carrier to travel with my senior cat. The hard shell carriers are perfectly fine for a small journey. But several times a year we have a 5 hr drive from our residence to another state. This play pen fits in my vehicle with no problem. He has more room to roam, stretch out and see his surroundings. All this makes for a quieter travel day while keeping him safely contained.

Goes together pretty easy. Does have instructions. But you really don’t need them it’s just two metal poles that fit into each other and they are the braces all the way around. The only problem I had was the braces or metal sticks or a little too long and can’t be pushed down all the way so the Velcro isn’t completely intact. That has not affected the performance yet for us. It has an opening on the side and top of that zip.

Ordered this for my miniature poodle when travelling. She is crate trained and will not chew or dig at the pen. The pen measurements are accurate - it's longer than tall and would be good for medium size dogs. The fabric is well stitched and the mesh is well attached and will be able to withstand mild pawing, but not chewing. It comes in a carry pouch and all the poles, pegs, and pen fit in it easily. Setting it up takes about 5 minutes, untwist the pen, and then insert 8 poles in the sides for stability. I had some trouble getting the poles in, they tended to get stuck going in on the ridge of the ends of poles. Pockets are quite tight at the top so it was a bit of a nuisance. The tabs that hold the poles in place are velcro, and may get full of hair if you have a shedding breed. Because of the way the pen folds up (challenging the first couple of time, lol), the outside top rim of the pen is weak where the folds are. The pen is quite stable from the inside, but from the outside it collapses easily when a dog jumps on it. The pen is best for dogs that are already crate trained, it's too light for puppies and won't hold up to chewing or hard scratching. It's perfect for my use though.

It's a great idea, it's well made and it looks great! This one has great materials, and is basically a little self-contained doggy sun lounge - It even has stakes to keep it down for normally boisterous dogs that aren't semi-tame dingos.This is why my dogs can't use it - They can't have nice things. I put one in it and he looked at me with "As soon as you turn your back, I am going to destroy this" eyes - So I let him out because this would be a shame to destroy.So - I am going to give this as a gift to somebody with dogs that aren't destructive monsters. But I am also going to give this a good review, because it's a good product!

One of the best things about this playpen is how portable and lightweight it is. It's way better than a bulky kennel! It's sturdy but not heavy, so it's perfect for traveling or camping. When I'm not using it, I can fold it flat, making it super easy to carry and store.The quality is top-notch too. It's made from high-quality 600D Oxford cloth, which is really durable and soft. The seams and corners are reinforced, so I don't have to worry about my puppy's safety.Cleaning it is a breeze because the floor is waterproof. I just wipe off any spills or stains, or sometimes I rinse it with water and it dries quickly. You can also put a blanket at the bottom and throw it in the wash when it gets dirty.

We got this to let our cats out in the yard as we're in a condo complex and cannot make a catio. Our cats love being outside so this is great for compromising. The playpen is spacious and sturdy enough, with two side entrances and a zipper-closed top as well. Setup is simple enough, though you have to take care to fully push the two pieces of each support together so they fit within the frame. The top holds its shape with just a thin wire, and this makes it less sturdy on the outside. My cat has tried twice to climb on top, and it just collapses inward and doesn't spring back up once they get off. Keep this in mind if using for kitten isolation!
