Freeze Dried Ice Cream Sandwich Bars
If you are looking for an expensive and unusual treat, these freeze dried ice cream bars are for you. They are crunchy but denser than I thought they would be. Cute, slightly undersized chocolate sandwich cookie ice cream bars that are interesting because they are freeze dried but that's about it. I'm happy to have tried them but don't see me putting them on the regualr rotation of treats in my house. Kids would likely love them for the novelty factor.

A nice idea?
I’ve had freeze dried ice cream before (“space ice cream”) but.. this was… weird. The texture seemed off and the taste was not ice cream sandwich-y. I really don’t know how to explain it.. because space ice cream is in itself such a weird item to begin with. Also the package has tear away openings and I tore it but it didn’t open.. felt kinda glued even at the pull away areas, I ended up having to use scissors.. minor inconvenience. Also the shipping method was kind of a fail… the sandwiches were smashed up into a lot of smaller pieces because they only came in a thin envelope with no real padding to speak of. Overall, underwhelmed and would not recommend.

Fun kids treat but not actually all that tasty to me
I can see small children thinking of these Freeze Dried Ice Cream Bars as a tasty treat but for me and probably most adults and teens this product is more of a novelty. The “chocolate” wafer part of the bar looks very similar to the typical ice cream sandwich wafer. When you put a piece of this freeze dried ice cream bar into your mouth, you allow it to soak up moisture (saliva) and eat if after a short while. To me the taste is not very appealing but again for children it might be a fun treat while out camping in nature.

Crunchy and tasty... Different
This is my first time trying freeze.dried ice cream...its a light and very.crunchy snack...the chocolate cookie is very crunchy and the ice cream is crisp and melts almost immediately... Its definitely a different texture experience... The flavor iscreally good...just a hint of strawberry...definitely worth a try!

Tastes like an ice cream sandwich, but broken bits.
It has the texture of a biscuit, but does retain the flavor of an ice cream sandwich. For me it’s interesting, but I’d rather have a biscuit or non-freeze dried ice cream sandwich. Some of the sandwiches also came broken. Pouches are resealable, good expiration.

Very hard with a slight taste of the original bar...
These are whole vanilla ice cream sandwich bars that have been freeze dried to about a third the original size with 100 calories each. I had hoped to like them as much as some of the freeze dried candies but, as a novelty that is very hard and somewhat crumbly, they are not even close to being as good as just eating the original ice cream sandwich. Some might find this be an ideal treat for a camping trip or survival food storage.

Not much taste.
I remember seeing packets of freeze dried ice cream in museum gift shops as a kid and wanting to try them SO BADLY, so I was really excited to finally fulfill those childhood dreams. Sadly, these were disappointing. They had very little flavor, and what I could taste was...off, somehow? It almost seemed minty, and definitely didn't taste like an ice cream sandwich. I'm not sure if it was these bars in particular or if freeze dried ice cream is just not for me.

Tasty and crunchy!
These do taste like crunchy ice cream sandwiches, it was a little weird at first, but I finished one whole pack super fast. They are delicious and I really like it. I have two more packets left and I'm going to enjoy them. They come in good bags, they are resealable. Overall, a different kind of tasty treat.
