    Internal Investigation

As the battle for the demon tool Brew drawing to a close Maka, Kid and Black Star are doing well against Mosquito but ultimately run out of time.  After the battle is over Shinigami-sama comes to believe that there is a spy at DWMA and call for and Internal Investigator discover if this is true.  Meanwhile Medusa begins to put her plans into action, Maka makes an unfortunate discovery and Black Star discovers that he isn't as great as he thinks he is.This tenth volume of the 'Soul Eater' manga is another very entertaining instalment of the series.  There is some nice action at the beginning of the volume with the fight against Mosquito being nicely done and entertaining.  Once the battle is over the main plot continues apace with the Internal Investigator B.J. being a relatively interesting character who makes some important discoveries.  The volume also includes the usual humour, mostly revolving around Marie and her reaction to the arrival of her boyfriend B.J.The volume does have a couple of minor translation mistakes but the overall quality of the translation is very good.  The volume also includes the usual bonus comics and brief translation notes.The volume is a very entertaining one and is definitely worth a full five stars.

In this volume the plot begins to diverge from the storyline of the anime series. We get to see a bit more character development for Black*Star in this arc and certain characters faced with some interesting revelations leading to moral dilemmas (although to say any more would give to much away). We also see the introduction of a new character in the form of B. J., who acts as a catalyst for the plot development. All in all another great volume.
