PeakMusic Stands SMS-10 Wire Music Stand with Carrying Bag

This is a quality stand at an amazing price. It’s hard metal, meaning it isn’t the thin flexible metal of cheaper music stands. Peak is one of the best stand makers, and I wanted to get the solid foldable one...it was too expensive so I went with this one. Great choice. It is as tall as my 5’8 boyfriend and will be a long-lasting, sturdy stand. Very pleased.

These are very well made products. Night and day better than the old metal stands many of us are use to. I’ve bought 2 and the second one the page holders are just a bit loose but still a great value

Worth the money. Don’t buy cheap stand. Knob is clamp style like durable stationary style. I needed portability yet better than cheap one that already broken. This is perfect for my son who goes rehearsal so often.

I liked it at first...sort of. it IS pretty sturdy for a wire type stand, but 3 things bother me to varying degrees...the clamp style knobs don't snap into place the way they do on the flagship peak stand (which I love, btw)- they sort of press until they stop, and they do get loose, which can be a sudden unexpected problem, esp with the tilt adjustment! there is a set screw to adjust this, but I've had a book fall backwards on the floor at least once. Second problem- the desk is narrow and slippery. (I just had a really expensive book which I don't own fall on the floor while I was turning pages)...Third problem, which exacerbates the second one...What's up with those retaining wires? They're set out too far, and don't come in contact with anything....(BTW, I didn't buy this from amazon- I bought it direct from peak, who sent the completely wrong product at first, and wouldn't send the right one until I sent back the wrong one)

The stand is just fine—as advertised. The case for it is not very good. It has no easy to carry handle and it is difficult to slide the folded stand into it because the case is skimpy.

I am very impressed by the sturdy construction. This is not your typical lightweight cheap stand. It is heavier and much much stronger. I will show many musician friends of mine how nice this news. I am glad I found it. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Stand is surprisingly sturdy, and yet pretty light. Sets up and folds up VERY easily, holds music securely, and makes rehearsals a breeze.
