If you have money to burn, sure why not, but there are better alternatives for not much more money.
One of the most powerful handhelds on the market. This is more like a mini PC than a handheld gaming system. The size of the screen is impressive and it runs fairly quickly with regular tasks. It was easy to use and set up. However, the price to performance just isn't there. Especially if you want this to be portable, the battery life isn't the greatest.

Great buy
This is an awesome device. Super fast, excellent graphics, quiet fans, great sound, easy to navigate. Quick shipping. I was skeptical of the third party seller at first, as always, but everything seems to be in order and im really glad I took the chance on it.Haven't had any issues whatsoever with the system/device, and it appears to be brand new as it was advertised. I just got it, but so far I am extremely happy with it! Will update if anything changes.Highly recommend. This thing is SICKUpdate after a couple of weeks.. this thing is AWESOME. Its a whole a** PC. Truly a powerful and versatile device. Its going to replace the laptop I normally travel with. Im truly impressed.

Definitely worth it if you have the cash
I have had the claw 8 ai+ for a month now and love it. With it being a windows device, it comes with all the pains of windows updates but that was expected. Otherwise, this thing is great! It can handle most newer games on at least medium settings. A lot of newer games will run ultra. The best part is I can use steam, xbox, gog, epic, ea, ubisoft and whatever other launchers. I get about an hour and a half when playing when not plugged in with ai settings on. I get about one hour with all settings maxed. I got a 100w charger (it comes with a 45w) and a dock to hook it up to my tv. Works fine, just make sure you have low latency (gaming mode on some tvs) turned on.It is BIG for a handheld, but that's what I wanted. But, it is strangely lightweight for how big it is. The screen is super bright and the speakers are decent. They aren't super high quality, but they are fine for gaming. Just don't expect to use it as your primary way of listening to music. Also, the 2 thunderbolt ports make it semi-futureproof. You can use those to hook up an external GPU if you want.I do wish that it came with a true users guide. There are a lot of little tips and tricks that it doesn't tell you. Such as, I had no idea the power button doubles as a fingerprint scanner! I would definitely watch some YouTube videos on features and tips for it. And as always, UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE all the software and firmware. It will run much better.Pros: great battery life, can handle most games, has all the features of a windows laptop.Cons: price, speakers, and no real user guide.Overall, if you have the money, I would recommend it.

DON'T BUY THIS!!!!
I'm gonna start with I have the MSI ge66 raider. I bought it 3 years ago and I love it. I never have a problem with it and it plays everything perfectly. With that being said I was very hopeful about getting the claw. Don't do it. Took a couple hours to set up, update, and get fallout 76 with some mods installed. I played it for an hour and everything worked perfect. Smooth great graphics everything was good. Went to take a nap and let it charge for an hour. When I woke up I went to turn it on and nothing. Just a couple of slight vibrations and nothing. Went online and looked up anything and everything I can do to make it work. I tried everything except opening it and nothing worked. I called MSI customer support next. I've dealt with some bad customer support in the day but MSI was some of the worst I've ever experienced. Literally no help whatsoever and just said to return it to Amazon. Don't waste your time, money, or aggravation. I'm just gonna order the steamdeck and call it a day.

I'm impressed.
Really have enjoyed my msi claw 8 ai+. It will allow me to spend time sitting in the living room with my Grandma so she doesnt get lonely, while I work on my pc backlog. Is it expensive? Yes, but as of right now, it's the best you can currently get.

Nice, But Not for $1K
This is the current top of the line handheld in terms of specs. It performs quite well, runs the latest AAA games at acceptable FPS, and (even at full power) is relatively quiet.Graphics look good, the battery life will keep you going for 2 hours or more on the balanced setting and the 1tb SSD is speedy and a good start for storage. But even with all that said…I didn’t keep it. I just couldn’t bring myself to pay $1k for this device. For all the positives of its performance it can be outclassed by laptops hundreds of dollars cheaper. It’s also more expensive than the most expensive console. I know those aren’t the same kinds of products but I include them for perspective. So, the question you have to ask yourself is how much you’re willing to pay for the convenience of handheld gaming. Because to do so on this machine you’ll be paying a premium and (at present) a price further inflated by the tariff situation.

Price, value, selection, nobody even comes close
It'll play Red Dead Redemption 2 locally. Battery drains fast when playing GTA 5 or RDR2 but what do you expect, magic? It also does magic

Buy one
This thing is an animal. Playing a downloaded version of oblivion remastered from Xbox and it's super smooth. Half life 2 looks amazing, and schedule 1 plays great on a dock w mouse and keyboard hooked to a 27 inch monitor
