I purchased this book as the title and the illustrations looked super promising. Best decision ever! The kids absolutely adored the story and asked to read it multiple times. We hope there will be a part 2!!

Great story about competition between a hippo and a rhino. Illustrations are very good which kept my child thrilled with the story.I recommend it to all parents and especially for boys.

The rivalry between the Hippo and Rhino tribes is both humorous and heartwarming. There are so many clever, entertaining, and surprising details in the story. My kids couldn’t get enough of the fun competition and the vibrant illustrations. We can’t wait for the next volume!

Hachim’s book is a bright start for an adventurous writer. It has imagination, action, simplicity and engagement. You can mindlessly enjoy ‘going there’ at the African savannahs and you can also pull a few words of wisdom to young readers! I personally enjoyed this light reading and its illustrations a lot and am confident it is the start of something big for an upcoming international writer. Highly recommend it!

This children’s book series is fresh and breakthrough. My nieces loved this first volume and can’t wait to get their hands on the next volume. The story is highly entertaining, the writing is witty, and the heated race itself keeps you on your toes until the end. It’s certainly difficult to guess who wins at the end! There are so many hidden details within the dynamic illustrations too. I won’t spoil but this is a must read.

I don’t really leave online reviews but this one is just FANTASTIC. My kid has asked for this to be read to him nearly every single night for the last month. Well done Mr Hashim! Time for some more volumes or at least a sequel!
