No Hose Clamps Anymore
The hose is exactly as pictured-- with no Mubea style hose clamps glued on like the older version KM4542 (I have a NOS year 2012 Motorcraft KM4542 with hose clamps attached sitting right here). The hose should be attached, at least to the plastic radiator neck, using constant tension clamps. The least expensive are Mubea style (or Rotor Clip or a few other brands) vs. more expensive Bellevue spring type all stainless clamps like made by Breeze (the cheaper Breeze clamps have carbon steel screws, not all stainless). Measured sizes: 2.1" OD as attached at radiator, 2.5" as measured OD at the water pump cast down angle. This size should be approximately the lower center range of whatever clamp you get, such as RotorClip CTB55 / CTB61 or CTB67). There are differing opinions about re-using the old clamps, most people probably do-- at the radiator end this is likely better than using other non-constant tension alternatives, classical shade tree worm clamps or prettier T-bolts.

OEM quality
I always use Motorcraft replacement parts on my PSD. Quality and the price here is always lower. Thanks

Excellent quality, very easy installation
I replaced this hose on my 2000 F350 Super Duty with the 7.3 liter Powerstroke that had 300,000 miles on it with the ORIGINAL hoses and belt still on it. Since I had such excellent luck with those parts I bought all the factory parts again for it. All went on seamlessly and had zero problems with any of it. I could have save a couple of bucks and went with some other parts but these were so reasonably priced and such high quality that I was happy to go OEM again. As good as the quality is my actual favorite thing about this hose is that the clamps on it are glued to the hose in exactly the right place and are self tensioning. Just put the hose on and pop the clamp loose from itself and you have an expertly installed hose. American Made too

OEM hose
Typically you can't do better than going with OEM and this hose is no exception.

Go 7.3!
Be sure of lower outlet before ordering, this is for the curved lower pump inlet.
