Review of both the 'standard' and 'double-size- Youpai 3d printer enclosures.
SMALL ENCLOSURE: Lightweight, but made with heavy-duty, durable, tear/scratch and water resistant materials (Think anglers' net-bags, rod holdalls etc) The framework is made up of lengths of solid and sturdy plastic (I think polypropylene) which is able to withstand a bit of bending during assembly or whilst being moved/used/adjusted/accidentally leant on) Once assembled, and in use, it is not truly airtight, thanks to the holes for the electrical cables etc, but it is plenty good enough, with the fan-assisted venting, to contain heavy fumes and allow them to be vented outside via the provided fan and tubing. The 'door' or 'window' flap stops short of the 'ground' meaning that the heavy fumes will sink to the bottom of the enclosure and remain in a 'puddle', behind the strip of material across the bottom of the 'doorway' if the fan is switched off. Whilst the fan isn't powerful, and I haven't done a comparison test, it should do a better job than none at all. Having said that, I will be connecting a far more powerful 6in diameter fan to the tent instead. Meanwhile, the 3 inch ventilation tube, is, I think extremely good, tougher than most and with an internal silver-coloured metallic material lining and I connected this to my larger fan using a 'reducer connection'. I left the original fan in place and sometimes use just that to vent fumes as it is quieter. During printing though, I use my large fan and switch the provided fan off. There is no point switching the provided fan on and trying to enhance the airflow using my large fan as well, because the smaller fan can only shift a smaller volume of air than my large fan and will therefore actually impede the airflow to my large fan. The slight criticism I do have of the enclosure itself, for those using a printer around the size of the Elegoo Saturn2 is that the provided fan and vent area is right beside where the USB port is located on the printer, and, if you have an Elegoo heater fitted to the back, one has to pull the printer far enough forwards to allow the power cable around the back of the machine, and for your hand to reach around to switch the heater on or off. And one more issue is that with the 'door/window fully open one has to struggle to lift the Saturn's cover up and over the the printer's Z rails post AND THEN through the top of the 'tent frame' itself. This should be easier with practice, but maybe think about fixing a lifting handle to the top of your machine's cover? If not, perhaps it's a good idea NOT to place your enclosure on a shelf any higher than your waist. LARGE ENCLOSURE. Again, made from good quality materials, nice stitching, etc, if only slightly different with the framework made up of metal tubing instead of solid plastic. And that is the only 'problem' with this enclosure. I read a review a year or so ago, where someone said one of the tubes has the hole drilled in the wrong end and therefore cannot be fitted at all, UNLESS one drills out a new hole at the correct end. And that exact same issue still arises all this time later. So, either there's a large batch of enclosures with the same mistake which still haven't all been sold, and they aren't aware of it, or they are aware of it OR and haven't bothered sorting it out. That aside, it's no big deal to drill a new hole, and once assembled the enclosure is excellent. In fact, it's better than the small one as it comes not just with the fan, but with an LED strip light, a temperature gauge, a hanger for the extractor hose, and some cable ties for the er... cables. With it being double the size of the smaller enclosure, there's less of an issue with space. I have an Anycubic Photon M3 Max and an Elegoo Saturn 2, and I did wonder if both would fit in. Google AI said no, the M3 Max won't fit in when the spare bottle is added to the back of the machine, and the printer is placed in normally, BUT it will fit in sideways. So I purchased the enclosure and thought I'd make do with the awkward set-up. But as it turns out the M3 Max WILL fit in 'normally' even with the spare bottle of resin fixed to the back, so I ended up putting the M3 Max in one side and the Anycubic Wash and Go station in the other. So, I don't stink the room out with IPA so much any more! And I was amazed, and very pleased to discover that the enclosure is actually tall enough to allow one to lift the cover off the Wash and Go station and tilt it towards you and slide it out without even having to fully unzip the 'roof' of the enclosure! And if that wasn't a surprise enough, it's also possible to do the same with the front cover of the M3 Max! And finally, access to all the required cables, USB ports is easy, and whilst changing the resin bottle on the M3 Max isn't a breeze, it's not a hard job either. So, I've got my Saturn 2 in the small enclosure (the printer I use the most) and the Max and Wash Station in the large. And I've connected the ventilation hose from the smaller to the larger and from the larger to the vent to the outside, and with my large fan on I can vent both enclosures at the same time, or just use the supplied fan in the larger enclosure to vent both enclosures at a slower, quieter pace (such as after all the printing and washing has been done and I just want to get rid of the last of the fumes. All in all, a pair of excellent products that offer versatility and make life a lot more comfortable and healthy.

This enclosure is a beast!
This enclosure is a game changer! when I first started 3D printing without an enclosure, the fumes from the resin was filling the house and it became quite dangerous, once i built this enclosure and used it for the first time I couldn’t smell it at all (Apart from when opening it to take out prints) but when you have prints going for long periods of time it can become very intoxicating without the enclosure. The only problem most people have with this is the instructions aren’t great but there’s a video on the product page that makes it easier to follow, my advice is when you’re piecing the frame together, push the poles into the corner pieces until it somewhat clicks to get a straight and even level all around the frame, also check the fan for the airflow arrow to make sure it’s blowing outwards of the enclosure like an exhaust. The quality of the materials is great and it’s lined with an insulating material which will help keep your printer at a stable temperature which means less print fails! The size is good, I’m using a Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra 16K and it just fits comfortably where I can open and close it without issues and still have some space for the USB drive and some space for the exhaust fan to draw in air. The plastic screen at the front of the enclosure adds another layer of UV protection to your printer which is a great bonus to prevent resin curing inside the vat. I would say it’s worth the price if you don’t have time to DIY an enclosure, definitely recommend, wish I bought the bigger one to put the wash and cure station in too

Saturn 4 Ultra fits... just...
So I needed an enclosure for my Saturn 4 Ultra to help reduce the fumes and to be able to vent them outside. I purchased this unit. Positives: Once put together it feels fairly sturdy. The zips do not feel cheap and have not caught or caused any issues so far. It does help keep the fumes down. You have a limited option to vent the fumes out. The Saturn 4 Ultra fits, you can open it up while it is in the enclosure. Room for improvement: There is only one vent hole, located on the right as you look at the unit. It would have been good to have an option on each side and the back as this limits where you can put the unit if you want to vent out of a window. The Saturn 4 Ultra fits as stated above.... but only just. If you use the USB drive that came with the printer, you will find it is virtually hitting the extractor fan. I have replaced the USB drive with a micro one to help with this problem. Also if you have a heater fitted to the printer, you will need to slide the printer over to reach the heater power switch. The hole at the back for the power leads etc is just a rubber grommet and cannot be sealed so some fumes will inevitably get out. The frame is plastic. It does seem strong enough, but for the price, a metal frame would be a better option. It does the job and overall has performed well but a few simple tweaks could make this a 5 star product.

Perfect solution to fumes!
If you want to do 3D printing but don't have a garage or dedicated room, this is your answer. Completely contains all nasty smells and fumes and expels them through your window via the extractor hose. Quite simple to build, fits large printers (my Saturn 4 Ultra fits in perfectly) and does exactly what it says on the tin. I have my printer in my bedroom and it's so effective that I can have long prints going on without any fumes or odour escaping at all; if it weren't for the noise I wouldn't even know it was doing anything. The fan isn't too loud either!

Handy and fits all my stuff
Awesome thing. Easy enough to install, however you need 2 people to get the tent over the poles because it’s a tight fit. Sturdy though! It fits both our Saturn Ultra, the curer and the washer. However washer and curer need to be placed in front of each other but, still works.

Good fitment of enclosure to the frame, instructions a little sparse but only one way to go together really, fits a Creality K1 Max nicely with room to spare for filament dryer. Very nice price and exellent tracking updates, very happy with purchase.
