These skins are the consistency of a pencil eraser. The actual tattooing is fairly easy I haven’t tried with color yet,key to getting them clean is spray on cooking grease like the stuff you use to keep food from sticking to a pan -for ink andLeave a paper towel soaked in bleach on top of the skin in a sink for an hour to remove the stencil completely

Have used other 3mm skins this one was very very thin and did not hold color very well

This product is very good. You don't go through the back side as easy as with a 1mm fake skin. It will definitely help with depth control and practice. The only do fall I have seen so far is they don't come clean no matter what I do. Is there a way to get them clean after you practice? I would recommend this product to anyone who needs to practice or just because.

I typically use the brand Reel Skin but they were sold out. I wanted to find a better (cheaper) alternative anyway and decided on this one since it had good reviews. The stencil transferred good and tattooing on it was great but when I went to wipe it clean (with what I always use) it smudged and I could not get it off at all; I tried a few different things to get it off and there was no luck. I was especially disappointed because I worked on this piece for 45 minutes or so and now it’s completely ruined :(

Pros - sturdy, 3mm thick, durable, good color.Cons - ink doesn't stay in unless you are really jamming it in, excess ink doesn't wipe off, smears and smudges like crazy.
