I purchased this bed frame primarily because it was the only one I found that had optional additional slats for additional support. I carefully measured to make sure it would fit inside my existing bed frame and did have to cut small sections at the center support areas so it would fit but it was very easy with an osalating tool. I tried to show pics where I cut so the center areas would fit. Total time to construct was about an hour and half including cutting the slots for the center support areas.The bed was very well packaged and came with clear instructions. It also came with the tools needed to fully construct the bed. The additional slats were shipped separately and arrived a day later but that was not that big a deal.Everything was well marked and went together smoothly. I slept on it last night and it felt solid and sound.I would definitely recommend this bed frame especially with the additional slats. Great price as well.

Took 1/2 hour to assemble - very sturdy

I wish they were about a quarter of an inch longer.Other than that perfect.

The headboard is not attached yet. My grandson is moving into a new home and will put it together when they get settled. He is excited because he will have his own bedroom.

Ordered with the Metal Bed frame and it fit perfect, mattress doesn't even slide during strenuous activitys
