Great multipurpose oil
I love this oil.. it has a strange but not unpleasant smell which disappears quickly. Iโm 52 menopausal with naturally curly long hair and olive skin tone and in the last year I can feel a difference in my hair thickness and quality, Iโm an ex hairstylist and always taken really good care of my hair but this had been difficult to deal with and quite depressing as Iโve always had fine but thick hair.. I use a lot of natural oils, nut butters and essential oils i make up myself but have nerves heard of this oil and whilst my combination are great conditioners, Iโve not noticed an improvement in hair thickness or quality. This oil absorbed really well and if you donโt over apply you wouldnโt really notice and I definitely would as the texture of my hair is fine so easily weighed down by heavy product but this oil is very good and the nozzle allows you to dispense small amounts of oil, I rub it into my fingers then disperse as evenly as I can on my roots and massage in for a short time to stimulate blood and Iโm applying every other day.. if youโre looking a brilliant moisturising oil I highly recommend caster oil, while itโs consistency would have you believe otherwise, itโs the best hair conditioner, I frequently put some into my regular conditioner and if my ends need a pick me up Iโll rub a tsp into my hands and through my ends and my curls are lovely for days, not sticky, clumpy or heavy.. Also whilst my skin has always been really soft without the need for regular moisturising thatโs no longer the case, I need to moisturise most places now and regularly, especially my face and neck so decided to try this oil out on my skin also, just to see and Iโm glad I did, I apply it overnight and I have noticeably reduced fine lines and silky smooth skin all day long. Great multi use oil thatโs very effective..

Perfect nail oil
It has the most beautiful nutty smell! I like it for my hair, it does make it soft and shiny (I didnโt use it long enough to comment on hair growth) but itโs incredibly greasy and quite difficult to wash out so Iโve switched to using it as a nail oil and I really enjoy it. Itโs heavy, thick and moisturising for my dry cuticles and has made my nails stronger and healthier, so I imagine it does work for hair (both being keratin) but personally I didnโt enjoy the mess and admin it involved. Note: I have fine hair that is easily weighed down, if your hair is thick and coarse, it will be perfect! The bottle size is good value for money.

Left my hair very soft
So everyone is going on about Batana Oil right now & I was curious to try it. I have Locs, afro hair and so I chose the oil to use instead of the ones in the jar as you have to be careful what you apply to Locs. Upon 1st use of this oil my Locs were left soo soft. I washed my hair, towel dried and then applied the oil to my scalp & gave myself a good massage. I then proceeded to retwist my roots as per usual. My hair dries fast & so it wasn't long before I noticed how soft my Locs were and they were lovely and shiny. Applying the oil is easy because the bottle has a resealable application lid which is soo helpful. The smell is very unique to me. Kind of a faint coffee like scent. It's not horrible but it's not the best oil I've ever smelt. However, that scent doesn't last for long & by the next day, I don't smell it anymore. I would say the quality is very good. A little goes a long way & when this bottle finishes, I definitely will purchase another.

Deeply Nourishing Oil That Improves Hair Health and Shine
This batana oil is a great natural option if youโre looking to improve overall hair health. It feels rich and nourishing, and a little goes a long way when applied to the scalp or hair. With regular use, it helps make hair feel softer, smoother, and more manageable, especially if your hair is dry or damaged. Itโs packed with nutrients like vitamin E and fatty acids, which are known to support scalp health and reduce breakage. One of the biggest benefits is how well it moisturises and conditions the hair, giving it a healthier look and natural shine. Many people also use it as a deep treatment or overnight oil. However, itโs worth noting that while it improves hair condition, itโs not a proven treatment for actual hair regrowth, so results may vary depending on expectations. The texture is quite thick, so it can feel a bit heavy if too much is used, especially for fine hair types. Overall, a natural, nourishing oil that works well for strengthening and improving hair quality, even if results take time.

Too early to say
Iโve only been using the oil for a couple of days, however Iโm surprised by the reviews mentioning that it doesnโt leave the hair feeling greasy and that the smell is lovely. Itโs an oil that you massage into the scalp so yes, the hair is VERY greasy afterwards and you canโt expect to be going out running errands unless you wash your hair first. Tastes are different but I honestly find the smell awful, it is a very strong, unpleasant and weird nutty smell. Three stars as I cannot comment yet on the effectiveness of the oil, but be mindful as based on your lifestyle (can you leave the oil overnight and wash your hair in the morning?), this oil might not be for you.

Great hair oil
Good hair oil for dry hair that also promotes hair growth. Easy to apply to the scalp and doesn't leave my hair feeling greasy. I have been using this for some time and can see the difference. It does have a distinct smell but it is not unpleasant.

I'm about 75% through my bottle and I do feel like it's helping with my hair's strength and growth. I use it as part of my pre-shampoo routine, massaging it into my scalp along with my other oils and serums. My hair has gotten softer and stronger, which is a big deal since it's been color treated and regularly heat styled. I have a lot of hair, but the strands are fine, so I need products that strengthen without weighing it down, and this does exactly that. It smells like coffee to me, which I personally enjoy. The scent isn't too strong or headache-inducing, even when I let it sit in my hair for a while. It washes out easily with my double shampoo routine and leaves my hair feeling clean, moisturized, shiny and soft. Even my mom loves it now. The applicator is a win. It makes it easy to apply directly to my scalp without the mess that other oils cause. I also appreciate that it doesn't leave my hair feeling greasy or coated. It just sinks in and does its job. Batana oil is known for helping with scalp health, reducing breakage, improving shine and supporting hair growth, and I feel like this one really delivers on all of that. It's been a great addition to my routine!

Early Days, Promising Results I've been using Dersie Batana Oil for just under two weeks, and I'm already seeing some positive changes in my hair. I've struggled with thinning hair for a while, and I'm excited about the early signs of improvement. My hair feels noticeably thicker and has a healthier shine. While it's too early to say for sure if it will bring back the fullness I've lost, I'm encouraged by the progress so far. The oil itself is a pleasant experience. The scent is subtly natural and doesn't overpower. I also appreciate the focus on natural ingredients, which is important for me. It's still early days, and I'll be sure to provide an update after using Dersie Batana Oil for a longer period. But based on the initial results, I'm optimistic about the potential for this oil to make a real difference in my hair health.
