I'm a size 10/12 and bought the large. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good fit; straps were an easy fix. *by B***S on Reviewed in the United States on December 29, 2019* Let me start off my saying that compared to extant garments, patterns, and fashion plates these look almost exactly like girdles from the mid 20th century. However, this is not shapewear and shouldn’t be treated as such. I bought this looking for garters, and so I didn’t expect any shaping to be happening. As a garter belt it fits its purpose well; the notions are all accurate to the period and are easy to adjust and fasten. I have some bespoke versions of this kind of garment and it’s comparable to that quality. The only gripe I have is that the straps are very long on my 5ft 3in and 110 lb frame. Even adjusted to their smallest they are rather long. This was easily fixed by unpicking the thread binding the straps to the belt and cutting them shorter, then using a backstitch to secure them firmly back together. I’m sure for people unused to needing to tailor their clothing further this would be a huge turnoff but I’m used to not finding things that fit well and so this wasn’t enough for me to knock off a star.
