I needed an inside pipe cutter to remove a PVC shower drain that was below grade in a concrete floor, and this tool worked perfectly for the job. It cut through the PVC with ease and made a clean, precise cut. The top plate was especially useful, as it prevented me from cutting too deep because a mess up in the floor would mean having to bust open the concrete.The cutter fit easily inside the pipe and was simple to use with a standard drill. It provided smooth and controlled cuts without requiring too much effort. Works perfectly. I used on 3", 2" and 1 1/2" pvc and had no issues. The stopper edge helps give a nice even cut.

Needed to cut a NM electrical feed PVC already in the wall. Tool worked great but may never need it again.Design flaw in the manufacture though. By having the set-screws on opposite sides, they don't pinch the shaft into the bearing housing on the alignment plate, so it wobbles a bit no matter how tight you get them. Angular offset on the set-screws will correct this. Also, an inch scale on the shaft would be nice to have as well.

This tool is awsome. It cut PVC effortlessly in a matter of seconds, and a perfectly smooth professional cut. The nice part is the guide is stationary you can hold it in your hand and move it around the workpiece. It will make anyone look like a pro!!!

This inside pipe cutter is a waste of money. The blades dull incredibly fast, making it almost useless after just a few cuts. The adjustable depth gauge is flimsy and doesn't stay in place, which makes precision cutting nearly impossible. On top of that, the hex shank isn’t very secure, causing wobbling during use. Spend a little more for a better-quality tool—this one isn’t worth the frustration!

I love it when you’re using a tool and it just works. This thing cut through PVC pipe like butter.
