A lovely set of 6 wooden instrument for younger / pre-school children. Very well made with none toxic BPA free materials.The children were eager to have a go at everything – to see what sound each instrument produced, a firm favourite was the blow sounder “clarinet” as the children loved the varying sounds. The triangle was also a winning instrument because due to the obvious silicone hanging tag (well it was to the children) it provide the correct “tingley sound” other similar musical sets we have used we found the children just held the metal of the triangle and it produced a rather poor and dull sound.We did feel the skin on the tambourine was on the light side and might not last as long as one might think, but to be fair it hasn’t broken yet after a few days use.The xylophone produced a good ringing sound, and each bar is a different colour but it’s more of a “make a sound item” as the zither and the maracas are.The xylophone is not marked with any kind note designation but to be fair the set is more about discovering sounds and promoting hand and eye coordination than playing a specific tune. The children did how ever manage to follow a timed beat and had fun at the same time whilst playing.

SO happy with this set! I love the soft pastel colours and the fact that every piece is crafted to a really high standard and works exactly as it should. It's an excellent assortment too and just feels like a wonderfully interactive and stimulating intro to musical instruments for a toddler; I think it would make a lovely gift!

Ce kit d'instrument de musique est de très bonne qualité, ça fait longtemps que j'achète des jeu de type montessori à mes enfants, pour la qualité des objets.En bois solide, ils ne sont pas pret d'être cassé si facilement, les couleurs ne sont pas agressive pour les yeux des petits, c'est un gros plus, de plus ma fille de 2 ans à directement était à fond sur la musique avec ces instruments, pour mon plus grand plaisir...Les son sortie sont bon, même si avec ma fille ça ressemble plus à du bruit haha, en tout cas elle ce régale avec donc je pense que ça peut convenir à n'importe qui.Le kit est solide et de qualité, le prix est peut être un peu élevé mais bon au moins on ce sent serein quand les petits joue avec
