I struggled several times to extract small dashboard bulbs with my fingers, and ended up improvising with cloth and rubber glove fingers over pliers – not ideal, it slips and it is hard to control how hard you press on the bulb. This is the right tool for such situations: the gripping jaws are covered in a sticky and thick enough layer of rubbery material, and the small handles allow good control of the applied pressure. I only wished the handles padding was more generous, the handles are narrow and the padding does not add much to the width. Not a big issue, and may also discourage applying too much pressure.

These players are perfect for pulling small bulbs. We have lights under our cabinets that are difficult to pull and these players pull them out easily. They are compact too, so they don't take up a ton of storage space. I am happy with my order.
