Reliable and Easy to use
This label maker is great. I was looking for a handheld one to label shelves at work. This did the trick. It is also super user friendly which was why I went for a dymo label maker.

Cumbersome to use
My review is based on the fact that I have no previous knowledge about label makers. I read reviews from various companies and chose this one because it had good reviews. It wasn’t the cheapest, but it was mid-range and I thought would fit my needs. #1 The package was difficult to open—heavy plastic molded together—ack! Cannot be cut with craft scissors. #2 Is not rechargeable. I knew that and was willing to use batteries. #3 I would have used a lot of battery drain because of the slow typing. It does not have a QWERTY keyboard. Trying to locate and insert a “symbol”, like a period (which I don’t consider a symbol) is a PITA. #4 The screen is not backlit. It was difficult for me to see the text clearly. Yes, I’m older than dirt. #5 It shows only one line of text. You insert a 2nd line, and it shows it following the text in the 1st line. It’s just another thing to do, not a big deal as long as don’t mind an extra step. #6 It does not have enough memory for my needs. I grow African Violets and have more varieties than there is memory for. Some of the names are long Russian/Ukrainian names, and I need to be able to store them so I don’t have to retype them. It does work, and obviously a lot of people like it. The cartridge was easy to insert, and I eventually figured out how to insert a period and a dash. Reviewers say you do get used to this keyboard—but I didn’t have it long enough to experience that. I’ve been texting with two thumbs too long to revert back to this hunt and peck stuff. It is way too cumbersome to suit my needs. I ended up returning it and buying a different brand that cost twice as much but will give me what I need.

Ottimo acquisto! Cercavo un’etichettatrice per personalizzare il materiale scolastico di mio figlio e ho acquistato questa. Devo dire che sono molto soddisfatta perché è facile da usare nonostante le istruzioni NON siano in italiano ma sono molto intuitive. Perfetta anche per creare le etichette per il campanello di casa. Io l’ho acquistata in agosto 2020 e, rispetto alla descrizione, non è predisposta per essere usata con un adattatore, pertanto funziona con 4 batterie. A parte questo particolare... Consigliatissima!
