this pillow has great support which is necessary for side sleepers like me. There is a small odor initially, but it went away in a few days. Highly recommended.

I'm not sure what I expected when I ordered this pillow, but it has surpassed anything that I could've hoped for!First of all, the pillow does smell of charcoal and latex, which I find really pleasant and which has lasted for months since I started using it. It's a hefty thing, but it's super breathable and provides a lot of support for the neck. the king size is very large, and ended up being split between my partner and I (who sleep fairly close on a full-size mattress).Please be aware, if you're a smaller person, this might put your neck at a weird angle when you're sleeping. I had to adjust myself around a bit after I started getting used to it because it started straining my neck forward as I slept. Personally, I fixed this by moving my entire body up!

I bought two king size and they are so comfortable. I love the latex foam pillows and although they were pricey they are worth it. My neck doesn’t bother me at all and I sleep well. Great pillows

This is a well-made pillow with some strengths and weaknesses. It is quite firm without feeling hard, and of an even thickness, rather than puffy in the center. I found it comfortable on my side, when I slept with my head and neck supported by it. When I just put my head (but not neck) on it, my neck felt stiff in the morning. My husband found it uncomfortable and could not sleep with it.The cover is not removable for washing, so I immediately put a pillow protector over it, to keep it clean, and then the pillowcase. The fact that it is latex rubber feels very different, for those of us who have become used to memory foam. I like that it is a more natural material, but have to say the light scent of rubber made me smile: it reminded me of those pink, bouncy rubber balls of my childhood. When lying on the pillow, you may notice the aroma, which has persisted after several days, but it is not strong or objectionable. Otherwise, the charcoal infusion keeps additional "aromas" out of the pillow, which is good.In summary, if a firm, natural pillow is what you want, then this is a good option. If you prefer something softer, like poufy down or the feel of memory foam, then this won't be for you. I don't think it would be a good choice for a guest bedroom, because (at least from our experience) it may work for some people and not at all for others!

I heard someone say once that we should never skimp on the things that go between us and the ground. This includes things like our car tires, shoes, office chairs, mattresses, and of course pillows. As I get older and feel the aging process set in, I think about that wisdom more often.For that reason, I've purchased and tried almost a dozen different pillows over the years, looking for the right balance of support, comfort, cooling, and durability. I've mostly ended up with foam pillows of varying designs and costs. The one I'd been using previously was about 60% of the price of this one, much firmer, and generally the best one I'd found up until now.When I received this pillow (packed in a very large box, by the way), I couldn't wait to try it. Taking it out of the package and putting it in the pillow case, I could tell this natural latex is a lot springier and "bouncier" than any I've tried before. It doesn't hold its shape as well as the much firmer foam pillow I'd been using before.I should also mention that I hardly noticed any off-gassing smell from it; it's there, but very faint. That went away the first night.Even after the first night's sleep, I knew this was a real contender. As far as I can tell, I didn't flip or adjust the pillow even once that night, which is unusual for me. I typically slide, flip, and adjust my pillow several times each night.The support and comfort are definitely there for me. I'm about 80% a side sleeper, and 20% back sleeper, so neck support when I'm on my side is critical. This gives me that.In terms of cooling, the jury's still out for me. It's easily in the better half of all pillows I've tried, and maybe in the top 2 or 3. I guess I'll find out more this summer.Aside from the slightly higher cost of this pillow, I have no complaints about it. And if it ends up being this good for even a full year, I'll consider it a win. I'll come back to update this post if I discover anything new.

Ive tried many, many pillows over the years. At least a hundred at this point! It's one of the most comfortable, and I can honestly say I'm very happy with this pillow!Now, with that being said, every body is different. Some people prefer soft pillows and some firm. I found this pillow to be well-balanced and in between soft and firm. It's on the softer side but I wouldn't necessarily consider it a soft pillow. I have never tried a latex pillow before so its a bit different to traditional pillows. It is very comfortable, and keeps a cool temp. throughout the night. It has a bit of a resistance to it as it keeps its shape. Though I'm not sure if this is because its still quite "new" so only time will tell.I decided to order the King Size version so it would be long enough to be used also as a "body pillow". This way I can use it as a side pillow and support my knees, which works SO GOOD!! I usually end up with pain in my hips if I turn on my side but felt such relief the following mornings that I can't find the words to describe it!!10/10 - I would absolutely highly recommend this wonderful pillow!Reason for 4 stars:Description says 6" and Medium Firm, but measures 4" in width and definitely not what I'd consider to be firm nor Medium Firm. Lastly, very costly.
