Gator GWE-335 Hard-Shell Wood Case for 335-Style Guitars

Great case and fits a MIJ Tokai 335 perfectly. Case is well made and robust. The only criticism (which I think another reviewer made) is that the check strap is too short - the case wont open past 90 degrees and so is liable to close whilst trying to put the guitar into the case. - would be easy for the manufacturer to make the check strap 20cm longer.

It's a great hard case, just make sure your guitar will fit and that is it.

I bought a second-hand Les Paul Professional (Recording) guitar, which had slightly strange dimensions. The body is about an inch and a half wider than a standard Les Paul, so wouldn't fit in the regular case. Although a little bigger than necessary, it serves its purpose well, giving great protection. I had almost given up, so this was a great solution to my problem. Fast delivery from an excellent seller. Thanks.

few things to say: I didn't buy mine from Amazon, as it had a long delivery date - bought from another site that promised immediate delivery - and they then took a month to deliver it, because they had lied about stock, despite me ringing. Lesson learnt I also thought I was buying a very dark brown, which I think matches the stateliness of the 335 better than black. As is, Black is OK, as is everything about the case apart from the check strap, which is a little too short to stay open. I've stretched it a bit but still a little too short. It's a standard good basic quality case. I have a Gibson own brand case for my Les Paul, and that's pretty much the same build quality (albeit finer finishes for Gibson) the important thing is to keep these sorts of guitars in a case - archtops full of dust develop electrical scratchy issues, and they're not the kind of robust cheap thing to knock around in a gig bag. Came with a small dink in the case. Not surr how this happened as the packaging seemed pretty good. Not too fussed about minor damage as its a good sturdy case in all for the money. Fits my Ibanez hollow vody very snug. Good service and fast delivery.

Bought as a Christmas present for my son for his epiphone casino. Unfortunately when he unwrapped it Christmas Day although packed well the lock and lock latch were damaged and falling apart. A bit disappointing and poor quality control but my son didn’t want go through all the bother of returning it and getting another one so he’s decided to use it as it is and see if he can get it repaired locally later on. Who locks a guitar case anyway?

I bought this hard case for my epiphone dot ES-335 a few weeks ago and so far it hasn't let me down the Gator GWE-335 Hard-Shell Wood Case for 335-Style Guitars is a brilliant guitar case the head of the case isn't the same as on the picture but everything on it is ok, the lock is all right as well i mainly use it for my exams and gigs at my school or local theatre place this case is brilliant and I'd recommend it to anyone.

Nice and lightweight. Not very good quality, but does the job of protecting the guitar for a budget price so cannot be too critical.
