Bought the 30m set for my back garden and was surprised how good they are. Setting them up was very straight forward and being able to connect them with the echo 10 is great, as they are now set to come on at sunset and I was able to set my own time to turn them off. They have a huge variety of manual settings for the lights or you can play about and create your own light settings. 4 months in and one set started to flash white out of sync, got in touch with govee and when the initial advice didn't work to fix the issue, they have asked for my details to replace the faulty lights. Couldn't recommend these govee lights highly enough, top quality product with a top quality customer support service.

Fantastic equipment at nearly half the price of its rival. Robust and watertight manufacturing and intuitive build and assembly. Really pleased with the functionality of the App and some nice surprises such as ‘music matching’ via Alexa or mobile phone mic. Bought my own hooks to connect the wire to the garden fence. The ones supplied are fiddly.

just noticed a lot are asking about extending the power plug lead length to the controller unit. I believe the controller unit is waterproof so you dont need a specific 3 pin lead just a IP67 Waterproof DC Extension Cable Cord 5m/16.4ft 5.5 mm x 2.1mm DC Extension Wire Black or similar sold on Amazon. I have use 4 sets of these lights and find them great quality. They are supplied with hangers to screw each light into position or cable clips to hang. They look great when installed and link seemlessly to the app

I'm really happy with them. Our garden looks super bright at night. Setup was fairly easy. Good quality from govee.

Got the double set of these for under a pergola and they look fantastic. There was the standard issue where I hadn't read other reviews and found that the mains plug for this item does NOT fit a traditional outdoor plug socket covering. Can't rewire the plug either as that is where the drivers for the lights and some of the kit for the wifi capability lives. In the end we found out that the controller box is actually waterproof even though the mains plug is not, so it meant drilling a hole through to the outside so the plug can stay connected inside, with the wiring and controller box going to the outside. This has been quite a neat solution. The app is a bit of a sensory overload with stuff everywhere, but it does hold all the information you need realistically and gives you tonnes of options for lighting as well as options to change the colours of each individual bulb. We did have an issue early on with connecting one set of lights to the second, as they daisy chain in one continuous line. For some reason the first one worked and picked up on the app but as soon as we connected the second line of lights the app couldn't find the lights anymore which then stopped it from working at all. Luckily, the customer service is good, one video of the issue later and a new set of lights were dropped at our door ready for connection! Would definitely recommend Govee for lighting needs, we've got the TV backlight too and that is also fantastic!

Way easier than Hue to set up and the App is great. Definitely 5 star. The hooks and ty wraps that come in the pack are many so it’s easy to spread them out without any problems. Works great with Alexa.

Great lights bright and colourful, have worked flawlessly so far with WiFi and Bluetooth connections (currently being used in home assistant perfectly) couple of small things to be aware of, the length quoted is inclusive of the power cable and switch cable, so actual lighting run length is at least 2m shy. There are also no cable extensions available that work (unless you cut and slice your own) they are proprietary three pin connectors that do not work with normal 3 pin extensions. Biggest disadvantage to these is, while you can chain 3 runs together (up to 45m 3x15m) you cannot buy just the lights to extend, thankfully for us we bought 2x 30m kits (there are two 15m runs bundled), and I used 3x15m runs as a continuous run and used the remaining 15m run separately. Would definitely buy again but do so knowing the limitations.

Excellent upgrade to these steing lights. I had the previous ones and while they too were good these are much brighter with deeper colours. Also better colour options in the app for these. They now act as a distributed gateway too which is handy. Only replaced the old lights as my fence fell down in a storm and broke them otherwise the previous ones were up 2 years with no issues in all Scottish weather. New fence new lights. Looks great now. In the video you can see the old ones on my garage and the new ones along the new fence.
