Upgrading from a Samsung Q600B as I recently changed TV to Sony and saw the Bravia 6 Bar was getting some good reviews so bit the bullet and bought it . Set up is easy no issues or complications. Only issue I had was the sound volume was really low and was hard to hear , but once I had downloaded the app there is a setting in the sound settings ... Advanced auto volume turned that on and the volume and sound is now absolutely amazing I went into YouTube and found Atmos sound test WOW it sounds amazing I was worried it wouldn't be much of an upgrade . My worries were put to bed this sound bar is AMAZING . If you are looking at this soundbar and thinking of buying it ... JUST BUY IT you won't regret it

The Bravia Theatre Bar 6 Sound and Woofer is ideal for a our main room, in our bungalow. It works well with our new Bravia 8 A TV, giving more oomph than the TV speakers when watching a film. I was a little worried that the Woofer may be too loud for us, as we both have hearing aids, but it is just right for our needs. It is easy to connect and and the compatibility, and price were both good.

Fantastic sound. Crap app. Got the rear speakers and sub. Set up was easy on the app. Then is was useless. The app doesn't hear the mic on my phone. The green dot is there saying the mic is being used yet can't hear it. Ive give five stars because the app isn't the soundbar which is what I'm reviewing. The app needs serious work. As I've googled and been to Sony and it's a big problem.

Nice sound sub bass blends nicley with the rest of the sound. However no display you're expected to use the app for initial set up, however the app loses connction and the only way to restore is to disconnect the power. Look on the reviews on google play for the "Bravia Connect" not to big deal as you have a remote just frustrating

Brilliant soundbar for films and T.V makes the movie experience more enjoyable for audio and immersive feel. Would definitely recommend.

Returning this today after a week , initial setup was great and the sound is good. But after a while the sub wouldn't turn on with TV remote and had to factory reset the whole thing ! Then couldnt find the sub. Check online reviews and it's the same story. Return processes was also pretty bad ups didn't turn up to collect twice then needed to get support to organise a DPD return , solved in the end but I've only just got my money back 20/01 and I bought it a week before Xmas

Great system and easy to set up. When coupled with the app, the freedom to tweak it becomes apparent. Would recommend turning the bass down to about -2 to -3 as it can be a little overpowering, and also adjust the height of the up-firing speakers so you can get that sweet spot of the sound deflection and the feeling of it being overhead. All this can be done on the app. Overall, very happy with this set-up.

Considering the price i am a bit disappointed. I had a 30 year old 5.1 sony system which I was delighted with. Eventually it died. All my gear is sony so I went for atmos expecting a similar experience. Just does not match. Yes its better than the TV speakers, but of course it should be. There simply is no spacial effect. Connecting was simple. It suggested hdmi 1 but the tv demanded 4. I also connected with the optical lead but that caused a conflict so just hdmi now. The phone app it important to tell you what sound is being input. However it constantly loses connection and is a devil to reconnect demanding app removal and resetting the bar. But it is the lack of spacial sounds that really disappoints.
