Not sour, extremely sweet.
These are crunchy but NOT SOUR. It says sweet and sour but it's mostly a syrup soaked, crunchy plum. Extremely sweet, bleh. So if you are looking for something sour, do not purchase this. I made the mistake of purchasing 2 jars. :(

Very sweet and crunchy
I have a sweet tooth and these are so sweet and satisfying honestly. I was super skeptical at first and well I was looking for the peaches from the YouTube video where nick digiovanni makes an expensive charcuterie board however those peaches are hard to find so I asked ChatGPT and it brought me here and I’m glad to say I enjoyed them. They’re super crunchy and sweet all the way through, the outside is not super sticky like most fruits in syrup no, this one feels dry outside however the inside is incredibly sweet. I can see how it’s too sweet for some people but for me I personally added lime and chamoy and DEVOURED them lol. I will 10000% purchase again. I can see this pairing PERFECTLY with a sour apple mixed drink or something with vodka.

Sickly sweet, not sour at all
I’ve been looking for sour green plums for a while now, and was hoping these were it. I think at one point they were, the texture is spot on but I don’t understand why there was SO MUCH sugar dumped in there with them. I wanted sour and crunchy, not sickly sweet and crunchy, with only the faintest whisper of the former sour of the fruit. They’re actually really gross so I pitched them in the trash.

Authentic!
Grew up eating these and have a hard time finding them. These are not supposed to be “sour”, the authentic taste is sweet-tangy-crunchy. These are perfect! Only complain - they could have filled the jar with 4 or 5 more QingKouMei.

Disappointing – Overly Salty and Artificial Taste
I was really looking forward to trying these Crisp Green Plums (Li Hing Mui / Salted Mexican-Style Plums) because I usually enjoy sweet and sour snacks like Japanese ume or preserved plums. Unfortunately, this product didn’t live up to the description or my expectations.Tried one, couldn’t finish it. Even mixing it into salad or drinks didn’t help. The flavor is just too harsh and artificial. Disappointed and definitely won’t repurchase.

Tasty Sweet and Crunchy Plums
Sweet whole preserved green plums with a nice crunch. They resemble the plums at the bottom of Yi Fang's green plum tea.
