This steam cleaner cleans my jewelry better than any sonic cleaner can. With just some tap water and a few pushes of a button, my pieces are clean and clear from any oils, makeup, or grime that can build up with daily wear. For some extra clean, I put my pieces into a sonic cleaner for a few minutes before using this steam cleaner. My jewelry comes out looking almost exactly like they did when I first bought it. It's best to use it near a sink, or with a towel under the nozzle, as the steam turns instantly into a great amount of water. My only gripe with this machine are the included tweezers. Compared to the actual machine, it feels so cheaply made and can barely hold onto jewelry pieces. I also don't like that if you squeeze too hard, it could almost scratch your jewelry. You're better off purchasing another pair of tweezers separately. Other than that, this is a great cleaner to have if you love your jewelry to shine.

There is a loose screw inside that rattles around when you gently shake the unit. Also, when in use, hot water escapes along with the steam. I had this very same unit for two years before it just quit working, and that unit did not spit out hot water. Not real happy with this one - just haven't had the time to try to return it. If you wish me to do so, I will. I would want the very same unit, however, because it cleans my jewelry quite nicely.

It worked well and for about 12 months, which is the warranty length. I sent it back to get it replaced and Armando at ADFA helped get this done. I am happy with the product and the service; however, I did expect it to work longer than 12 months with occasional use. Hopefully the replacement lasts longer. If they did not replace it, I would have given them 1-star as opposed to 4-stars. Customer Service means everything in this type situation

Everything about this lil machine not only works, but is pretty mighty to clean w. This isn't a pro cleaner,but will do a great small job of cleaning. Nice size,compact, esthetics and everything attached you will need for general cleaning or a beginner.

I am one of those people who always looks for the good in something even when the situation is obviously bad. Not here. I purchased this machine for my wife as a Christmas present with every expectation that there would be, as some reviews had stated, some moisture and water in the operation. When you are using steam you are using water - there is bound to be a little bit of leakage or residue created. Upon setting this machine up for the first time I carefully read the instructions even though the process was obviously simple. I placed the water in the reservoir being very careful not to overfill per the instructions. I waited for the green light to come on and pressed the button to clean my wife's rings. A puff of steam came weakly out. I waited and tried again - same result. I then looked on the counter and discovered water RUNNING along the surface. I unplugged the unit, waited for it to cool down and picked it up. Water ran out of both sides of the machine where the two primary pieces of the unit join together. I put more water in, waited the appropriate time for the water to heat and got the exact same result. I immediately packed it up and sent it back. Very disappointed! A complete waste of money and effort! I am now waiting to see how the refund process plays out. Buyer beware!!!

Bought this as a gift for my mother, she is very satisfied with its performance. I have used it myself and the steam blasts out in very high pressure, i was impressed with the overall quality of the unit. One Con: The supplied tweezers don't grip onto jewelry to well, i recommend you buy a pair of rubber coated tweezers with this item

I am thrilled beyond words with this cleaner! I looked at A LOT of reviews for steamers and was just thinking I would never find an affordable one that actually works. This one is it! Easy to use and my jewelry looks just as good as when the jeweler cleans them. I leave it stored and put next to kitchen sink when I want to use it because the steam causes a little bit of a mess. But nothing that would prevent me from using it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this cleaner.

I purchased this item for my Mother for Christmas 2010. She did not have a chance to use it -due to illness- until late January/early February. It does NOT work. She contacted Lynns Essentials and was told to clean the jewelry FIRST before putting it into the cleaner! So, what did I pay $100 for? WHen she contacted the company, they were rude and would not accept a return as it was past the return policy date-even though the machine does not work. Even if they had just been nicer about it or tried to figure out what the problem was, I wouldn't be writing this. If you really want this item, Hammeker Schlammecker (not sure of spelling) has a similar one for same price and they are a much more reliable and courteous company to deal with.
