Arnica is very effective for pain relief, and I use the minimal dosage of this product for my cat. (If you have a question about the product, I would not suggest calling the woman at Pet Essences. Besides constantly interrupting me, she lectured like she was talking from a script. I wanted to find out how brandy (preservative) can be evaporated if you are putting the product in a pet's food. Can it sit in the food to evaporate, and, if so, for how long? She did not know. I looked on online, and after some investigation found that you should let the food sit for 10-20 minutes. That exposure will evaporate the alcohol.)

My cat did not care for the smell or taste so it has to be mixed. Still I saw no real change either. Hopefully a little longer usage might prove otherwise.

This product seemed to help a feral cat we feed. He was looking really sick. Started giving him these drops along with the Infection ones. After about a week, he looked much better and was more active. I will continue to use for sick feral cats. This is great especially since it is hard to take them to a vet. And since these are drops, they are easy to put into their wet food.

Used for arthritis in my 13 year old cat. It seems to work. Better alternative to the sleep-inducing medication vets prescribe. I rub some on his ear every night. Easier than pilling!!

I cannot say enough about Pet Essences remedies - especially the Pain Relief remedy. My dog responds very well to flower essences and the Pain Relief remedy kicks in immediately and helps him to rest. He has various health issues that often bring him discomfort and this remedy has been amazing. Another great thing about these remedies is they work even if you just rub the solution into their skin - i.e. I put it on the ends of his ears and rub it in gently. Sometimes he will lick it off my hand. If you have a dog who will not accept you using the dropper - remember you can put it on his or her skin. I keep it on hand all the time.

I have used this on my 7 year old lab who has hip pain. She will not drink it in her water bowl so I have been applying it directly to her hip. She does not seem to mind it one bit.

Wish I could say it worked, but for my cats, it didn't seem to help. They are 16, and do have a lot of pain, so it may not of been enough.

Defiantly helped my kitten feel better when she took a tumble! (No idea how, but she was injured for sure in her hind quarters)
