Apple Macbook Air MJVM2LL/A Intel i5 1.6GHz 8GB 128GB (Renewed)

My husband loves the Macbook he purchased. Works very well for what he needs it for.We would recommend this product if you need something affordable and reliable.

So I took the risk of paying $400 for a refurbished MacBook Air 11.6 inch laptop with intel i5 8GB 128GB due to water damage suffered to my beloved MacBook Pro and I didn't have the $1200 for a new laptop.My needs were just being able to work online with some adobe applications, some movie editing and taking it around town for work.The first one I received looked good at first for the most part, some scratches and dents (it had clearly been dropped) but I expected some cosmetic damage, which could be covered with the purchase of a cover. However, after further inspection the black plastic piece that is the hinge from the screen to the computer was completely broken in two places. So I contacted Amazon and sent back the laptop in exchange for another. I figured if the next one was bad I'd return it and just have to save up for a new one.Well, 2 days later the laptop arrived and so far WOW! It arrived looking brand new, NO dents, No scratches except for 1 very small one on the bottom of the laptop which no one will ever see. Everything works perfectly. And its an 2.2 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i7 processor not an i5 processor! Runs fast, works great and I am very happy!I will update this review after more time has passed, but I am extremely happy so far!

I got the 2015 model that can be upgraded to Monterey. It ran Sierra out of the box and was not sluggish at all, and I was afraid upgrading to Monterey would slow it down. It did not!! It’s fast enough and robust enough to run the basics, and I use it as a server for BlueBubbles so that I can use Messages from my Linux PC. It’s flawless as a server. I expected this MacBook to run slow and to only use it for exporting my Safari bookmarks and running BlueBubbles, but I can see it will probably be able to do quite a bit more than that. I also thought the small hard disk would be mostly consumed by the OS, but this is not the case. One thing that is less than ideal is its screen. I am used to the sharp displays of my iPad Pro and iPhone Pro Max, and the MacBook’s screen is a little “fuzzy” in comparison. I can live with it, though, and you can adjust the display resolution to make everything a little bigger and easier to read. Another thing is that I was expecting it to take a week to be delivered, but it arrived .two days after I ordered it. So the seller is a fast shipper! I had a question about the OS and the seller replied very quickly and was friendly and accommodating. Although Monterey isn’t the latest OS, it is still good enough to run quite a lot of apps. If you can’t find one you need that is compatible in the Apple App Store, browse the web for a slightly older version that will work. Sierra has some issues signing into iCloud these days, so you’ll definitely want to get the Monterey upgrade. All in all, I’m very happy with this purchase, and with the fact that I didn’t have to spend five times as much on a laptop to do what I needed it to do!

I bought this for my daughter. The laptop came packaged well. Once she opened it, the laptop was beautiful. There was no damage, no dings, dents or scratches on it whatsoever. It was easy to set up and get started. The laptop itself runs well and is fast loading images, videos, games, etc. The only thing that is a nuisance is the battery life is very short. It doesn't last long. You need to have it charging while in use so you don't run out of battery and that is a pain at times to always be charging the laptop. Besides that, the laptop is really good quality.

So I’ve purchased several renewed apple MacBooks and I am always happy with them, however, this couldn’t be more of a bait and switch. I know it was cheap but they didn’t even send the product mentioned in the description. This MacBook Air 11 inch is said to have been from 2015….nope more like 2012, it was said to be running the most current MAC OS….Nope Again, can’t update past OS 10! Most importantly though, this MacBook is in deplorable condition. It looks like it was grabbed directly off the counter from a careless child and thrown in a box and shipped. The laptop firstly doesn’t come packaged in the proper air filled bubble wrap it should, was entirely too big for the sleeve it was in, it had about 4 inches space on any side of the cardboard insert it came in, plenty of room to get seriously banged around, it was dirty and this thing looks like it was dropped down a flight of steps, it not only has some minor defects but it has literal gouges taken out of the METAL FRAME where you can clearly see it was dropped several times and dropped HARD. There’s renewed and then there is just plain ripping someone off!!! I’m HIGHLY disappointed with this purchase and I want what I paid for and what was advertised!!!

Charger had a shortage had to purchase a new one or return the whole computer I would have given it a 2 star rating but it came a day before once I get the charger and charge it I’ll rate the product

Lo usaré en mi trabajo

La verdad es que la entrega fue rápido a dos días de hacer el pedido llegó tamprano a mi domicilio, llevo ya 2 semanas usándola y me sorprende mucho me dura 9 a 8 horas la batería y carga súper rápido la pantalla y todo en general está en muy buen estado.El sistema operativo llega al Monterey pero funciona muy bien para el trabajo básico como presentaciones y documento y programación. La verdad si la recomiendo mucho
