Good value overall, but... *by M***N on October 18, 2013* This is an update for a second set. My first review was for the 8" jaws and this is for the 5". They're just as good as the 8", but somebody needs to tell their QC that you DON'T want protective oil coating all the bowl mounting pins. It was just a minor nuisance but you don't want oil on the gripping surface.. Not only could it stain the piece, but could result in work flying across the shop! Original Review Got this set of jaws for my Barracuda chuck. As a new turner, I'm still looking for ways to simplify and improve my work. I turn bowls and hollow forms and I'd say that these are essential at this point for me.
