I love that this lotus leaf tea comes in plastic jars over a zipper pack. There was very little powdered material at the bottom as it could not be crushed. It smells very fresh and the flavor is lovely. I cannot comment on the effects of the tea as I don't use it for those purposes, but overall I really love the quality of the product I received.

These two containers of Wanhua Hall Lotus Leaf Tea make a lovely lotus leaf tea. The leaves are well dried but clearly still fresh given their good scent (like similar to a fresh cut grass) and natural green coloring. The taste is vegetal, but in a good way. It had a fresh scent while steeping that was enjoyable. I liked it without any sweetener, but I'm sure it would be fine with a little bit. I also like that it, being an herbal tea, is caffeine free so you can enjoy it anytime of day if you are sensitive to caffeine.I can't comment on the weight loss effectiveness of it as that is such a complex topic. It has been traditionally used for that, among other things, over time, but does it work? I don't know.The directions are semi-vague with: "Put a proper amount of the product into a cup with boiling water". For me, I did about a teaspoon, not sure if that is a proper amount but my cup of tea was tasty. It said steep for 5-8 min before drinking. I did 6 min. The nutritional label was also not useful in any way. It cites 1.4 serves per container (a serving size of 100g). Unless I am trying to eat these leaves plain or maybe if I'm making a giant vat of tea, there is no way that the info on that label is helpful.For me, I enjoy this lotus leaf tea, but I wish the directions and labels were a bit clearer/helpful.

Easy to prepare, I just put some of the dried leaves in a cup, poured on hot water, and steeped it a few minutes. This lotus leaf tea has a very pleasant taste and gives a calm feeling.They say it will help me lose weight. That always gets my interest. There are no particular side effects reported for lotus leaf tea. I've seen some warning about lotus seeds. I already eat lotus root occasionally, stir-fried and I don't know if it has medicinal benefits, but it's tasty and has a texture that's fun to eat.You get quite a good supply here, two bottles. I think one cup a day is enough. It calms me down, and after that I don't need more calming down.

If you like really earthy green teas, you will probably love this! It's a tiny bit floral, a tiny bit bitter as well, so I do recommend using a little honey or some other type of sweetener with this.It's a great deal as well, for just how many servings you can get out of this tea. The dried leaves expanded A LOT in the steeper, so you really don't want to use a ton of it.Overall, I really have no complaints about it. It might not be everyone's taste, but I personally liked it a lot!

The Lotus Tea leaves comes in 2 plastic bottles (140g per bottle). I've never had lotus tea before but have eaten plenty lotus roots in stir fry. I wasn't sure what to expect but have heard good things about it as it promotes calmness and helps you sleep well. The tea itself is very clean..no debris or dirt once you reach the bottom of the cup...the leaves are balled up but once you brew it...it expands. The taste is pretty mild which makes it easy to mix with other teas...we enjoyed it mixed with oolong.

This lotus leaf tea comes in a large spice jar—interesting. The tea itself is pleasant. Cut the price by at least 50% and I might order again.
