Material is strong and durable. Straps for legs are convenient and a great feature. Great cover for price

Better inexpensive replacement to the inferior Pit Boss cover.
About once a year my Wal-Mart Pit Boss grill cover gets destroyed by our Colorado sun. This necessitates another $50 cover purchase, something I've come to detest as it's just money down the drain for a cover that barely lasts a year.I saw this cover for a lower price and figured I had nothing to lose trying it. So far I'm happy I did as I can already tell it's made from a heavier material than the "factory" Pit Boss cover. It does fit a bit looser than the Pit Boss cover, but I really don't have a problem with that as long as the wind doesn't blow it off. So far so good though in that regard.Overall from first impressions I'd say this is a superior cover at a lower price. I'll report back in a year if it too succumbs to the elements.

Not Enough Thrill for My Grill at This Bill
We have a Pit Boss Pro 1150 Smoker, and our previous non-smoker-shaped grill cover was ripping after about 5 years of service, so it was time for another. This time we went with this smoker shaped cover, and it's...meh...at least at this price. The material is much nicer than I expected--from the product description pics, I was expecting a synthetic/plastic/faux leather material, but it's more substantial than that! It has a canvas/sailcloth-type fabric weave that's very similar to the nice grill covers I've had in the past. That being said, it could be a bit thicker; time will tell how durable this is.Other issues include the shape of the cover and the location & type of the straps:The cover has almost a bell shape, where the bottom flares out like a ball gown, with no elastic or any way to cinch it in (see pics). It makes the cover loose-fitting and allows for wind/snow/rain--and the odd neighborhood cat--to get up under to the shelf. At the very least is could be straight or include elastic or a cinch tie to pull it in, like the previous grill covers that I've owned. There are velcro straps at each corner to tie it down to the grill, which in themselves scream, "cheap". All of my other grill covers use plastic clips on woven straps. But the weird thing is that they are mounted about 12" up from the bottom, INSIDE the cover (see pic). While they are long enough to connect out beyond the cover, it is VERY difficult to reach up under and find them, especially since the velcro has very little mass to allow gravity to pull them down.As a side note, it came enclosed in a way-too-nice, zippered bag made from the same material as the grill (see pic). I'm not sure of the logic for this. Maybe I'm the weirdo, because I actually use my grill cover to, well, cover my grill?? Honestly the material/effort/money that went into this nice bag would have ben more wisely spent in adding a few upgrades to the cover itself and make this a 5-star rating. As it stands right now this cover just doesn't have enough features to justify the $35+ price point. If it were in the $15-$20 range this would be a good deal!
