Klein Tools 38611 Long Nose Locking Pliers with Quick Release Handles, Ideal for Tight Spaces, High Torque and Gripping Power, 6-Inch

I hade another brand long nose locking pliers that was not built for durability. They were pretty useless. Decided to look for something better and came across this Klein product. They really are built tough and should last a very long time. Very impressed with the design as well. Pretty amazed that this was so inexpensive for the the quality you get in return.

Not much to say besides if you want a great pair of locking pliers, look no further.

These are better than the other brands I've bought; Cresent, Irwin, and Harbor Freight. Much more comfortable to hold and squeeze, and they have a good positive locking action. There's no stiction in the mechanism - they clamp and hold well.

Very good deal for good quality locking pliers they feel good in the hand seem to be high quality

I received the pliers today, 06/06/2024, purchased because Klein is a good name in tools. Neither on Klein website nor amazon can I find how the quick release works. Klein support website requires exhaustive info ( which will no doubt be sold to uninvited sources of contact ) in order to access the opportunity to ask a question. If the "qiick release" requires pushing away the bottom handle, then whether that works depends upon how securely the locking mechanism holds the locked item...the tighter, the more difficult to release. A video of how the release works would be helpful. That not immediately forthcoming, I'll return for refund. Are these liar pliers?

I'm pretty sure they work great. But I won't be able to tell since they were sent to the wrong address even after I made sure the address was correct where I wanted them to go to.
