Geosystems DISTO X6 New, 800ft Laser Distance Measure with Bluetooth, 4X Zoom Camera

This is a very accurate laser distance measure, probably the most accurate one out there. Leica started the laser measuring revolution in 1993. This X6 unit is a robust device made of rubber-coated aluminum and is IP65 rated. It has a scratch-resistant touch screen and a built-in battery. It is pricey, but it works quickly and efficiently and is, again, very accurate. One can use it without a tripod, but using one really allows one to have precise measurements. It also has a hand gesture movement whereas one can simply wave their hand in front of the unit, breaking the beam momentarily, which triggers the measurement without making the unit wiggle and reduce accuracy. The display has adjustable brightness as well, which makes a huge difference as does the ability to have 1x zoom, and not just 2 and 4x.

Ended up returning because it was more than I needed and purchased the X5. I especially like the straight line option. This adjust the distance to the horizontal distance if you have the meter at up to 10 degree angle up or down. Believe 10 degrees is correct. Another is the option to use hand gesture to trigger the measurement. Wave your hand across the front of the laser so you don’t move it by trying to press the button.

Probably way overpriced and probably way less expensive options but so far works very well.

It has exceeded my expectations in every way. This high-quality laser distance meter is incredibly fast. Its measurement range of up to 250 meters makes it perfect for both indoor and outdoor use. What I love most about the DISTO X6 is the bright, scratch-resistant touchscreen and the digital Pointfinder with 4x zoom. These features make it incredibly easy to get accurate measurements quickly, even in challenging environments. Bluetooth connectivity allows for seamless data transfer, which is a huge plus for integrating measurements into workflow. The ergonomic design and intuitive operation, including the ability to trigger measurements with a wave of my hand, make this device a joy to use. Overall, It's reliable, efficient, and full of options that make it an indispensable tool for any professional. Highly recommended!

This is has a great laser for distance, however the touch screen is fussy, it defaults to metric every time we turn it on and will not default to the units we need. We keep on accidentally turning on other features when using due to the touch screen. The camera and zoom feature is nice, but the cross hairs and laser dot are significantly off (they aren't even close to aligning). So we are not really measuring at the cross hairs using the zoom feature. For the price, this is not worth it for our firm. This just sits in the drawer while we use the cheaper Leicas for most measuring. We'll pull this one out for more longer distances though. Usually Leica is wonderful, however this model does not work well for our architectural firm.

Der DISTO X6 ist das neue Flaggschiff von Leica und mit seinen ganzen Funktionen ein richtiges Highlight! Ich hatte zuvor den DISTO D510 mit dem ich auch schon sehr zufrieden war. Mit dem neuen DISTO X6 wurde die Laser Distanz Welt nochmals ordentlich verbessert. Der Laser hat eine Vielzahl an Funktionen, welche die aller wenigsten wahrscheinlich ausschöpfen werden… Meines Erachtens, die neuesten Verbesserungen, die man im Alltag spürt, sind: - USB C Aufladbaren - Der Laser bleibt dauerhaft an d.h. man muss nur einmal drücken und nicht wie früher zweimal um ein Ergebnis zu bekommen. - Man kann jetzt in den Laserstrahl hinein fassen, wodurch er dann auslöst, somit hat man kein verwackeln, wenn man genaue Vermessungen durchführen muss. (diese Funktion kann man natürlich auch deaktivieren). - Messpunkte können jetzt mit Datum versehen und abgespeichert werden - praktische Auslösetaste auch an der Seite des Gerätes - IP65 Standard Ein qualitativ sehr hochwertiges Gerät, welches mich die nächsten Jahre hoffentlich lange begleiten wird.

Leider ist auch hier keine Bedienungsanleitung dabei, durch eine falsche Bedienung kommt es immer zu Fehlmessungen, Sehr gute Verarbeitung, zu diesem HiTec Entfernungsmesser muss unbedingt eine Bedienungsanleitung her. Der Kundenservice konnte mir auch nicht dabei helfen.
