I have never had any issues ever with these Dewalt Batteries that were not caused by me lol. if you run them too low, they may not recharge. if you Damage them, they may not work or worse. these are light weight, long lasting great batteries. fit all my DeWalt tools and chargers. I love the lithium-ion tech as you can charge fast or slow and will not affect the lifespan of the battery like it will fast charging the older nicad's or even nmh,

I bought this DEWALT 20V MAX 5.0Ah battery 2 pack because I use several DEWALT tools and wanted longer runtime without constantly stopping to recharge. The 5.0Ah capacity is a really good balance for me. The batteries give solid runtime without feeling ridiculously oversized, and having two means I can keep one in the tool while the other is charging or ready as a backup. They lock into my compatible DEWALT tools securely and feel exactly like what I expect from the brand. Nothing complicated, charge them, click them in, and get back to work. The best part of the 2 pack is not having that moment halfway through a project when the battery dies and suddenly the entire job is on lunch break. 😂 Overall, dependable, convenient, and a great addition if you already use the DEWALT 20V MAX system.

So far so good on the DeWalt batteries & charger BUT the tool I bought the batteries for is very poor - basically unusable as a string weed whacker - my primary need. Too bad a DeWalt tool had been available/offered.

So far they have held a charge pretty good and they last a lot longer than some of my other batteries do will buy them again when I need new batteries again or some of my others stop charging so far I have 2 5 amp hour batteries 1 4 Amp hour and I think 3 or 4 of the 1.5 Amp hour ones have 3 impact drivers and 1 hammer drill the impact drivers 1 was smoking 1 day from a lit of use so I bought a new 1 then a few years later I found 1 in the trash so that is why I own 3 of them and they all work great

Batteries are good. No complaints.
