Great idea - wrong shape
Unlike most lumbar supports, this cushion is not dogbone-shapped with more support laterally and less in the center. It's the opposite - being thick in the middle and tapering to the edges. This means that your back is metastable as it rests on this bulge. You can somewhat mitigate this by only inflating the cushion to half capacity, but then that may not be enough thickness for your intended application. The hand pump is weak, but functional and it's great to have an infinitely adjustable volume. However, the poorly designed shape is not as comfortable as a traditional lumbar pillow.

Probably one of the single best items I have ever bought on Amazon
I have bought like 5 of these over the years and not because they broke, I just have a habit of losing them by leaving them on the seat or something but they are super durable. So far never a hole/leak even in one I had in my car driving daily on it for like 3 years. These are absolute GAME CHANGERS on airplane flights when you have a picky lumbar/back pain. It turns even the crappiest seats into fully adjustable. SOOO much help on those crappy minimal padding non reclining budget airline seats. TIP: Buy 2 for those crappy plane seats. One for under your butt and under for your lumbar.

Great idea
I have lingering back pain from an accident. I wanted this to help as a air travel lumbar support but firstly it wouldn't stay inflated. Secondly it was too bulky. Found a better product here on Amazon

Good idea, coul be implemented better.
Good idea, but the shape it the cushion is not optimal. The cushion is "ravioli" shaped so it is not easy to position it correctly. It definitely helps if are able to position it correctly, but it might need a lot of adjustment.

Big help! Fits under seat cover
Put it under my seat cover. It is so helpful for my FJ Cruisers terrible seat. Lumbar support with awesome adjustment.

Pretty good support
It's as good, if not better, than anything that I've used so far. I still have lower back pain when traveling but it seems to take a lot longer before it begins to hurt when using this inflatable support.

I really wanted to like this pillow...but..
It makes my back hurt more. That stupid bulb gets caught on everything around my car’s seat and makes me want to scream. The shape of it is just not supportive or ergonomic as I’d anticipated.Filled full: super hard and strangely round (I thought this would be good for me, but nope)Filled medium: causes my back to tense up because I’m trying to steady myself against the subtle movements of the air inside the cushion. There are some good things about it, and maybe it will work for someone else’s needs. The construction is of high quality, and although the bulb is annoying as hell, it is convenient in that you don’t have to put your mouth on a (possibly dirty) valve, like with other cushions.I have tried TONS of inflatable back cushions. I have found a few that do the trick, and surprisingly enough, they are the cheapest and simplest of the bunch. I can’t stand anything with a weird contour in it - it needs to be fairly flat, which is why the typical “lumbar support” product doesn’t usually work for me.I’m short, and I find that most chairs (cars, airplanes, movie theatre seats etc) are designed for tall people, and the contour they put in there causes my shoulders and head to roll forward, and I feel like I’m sinking and slouching. For years it’s been driving me nuts.My very favourite pillow was discontinued, and I left it on a plane one time. So I went looking and found a different one. “STYDDI” brand foot rest pillow (2 pack) has been an absolute life saver for me when travelling. Although advertised as a foot rest, I actually use one for behind my back and one for under my feet and it’s like a miracle. All of a sudden I can sit up straight, shoulders back, with just the right amount of support where it needs it. And with the one under my feet, I don’t have to cross my legs because my feet actually touch the ground. This is likely where my back problems originated from. I also just ordered one from “weemoment” that looks like it will be good, although I haven’t received it yet.So anyways, the reason I bought this pillow is so I could have something in my purse that I could easily (and somewhat discreetly) Inflate to put behind my back when at a restaurant or something. (This mouth blow-up ones are not very graceful... it can sure draw attention). I may still use it for that purpose, if I’m in a pinch... although I kind of dread using it because its so uncomfortable.Hope that helps. Again, it might work for you but I honestly think there are better ones out there.

The best air chair support I found
I'm a Doctor in Chiropractic and saw these air bad to sit on at many trades show. This one is by far the best I found in the market. I got ti fro 25-30$ CAN (20 US) and normal price for this type of tools is more around 50$ CAN.Tips :1- It need to be sat on, not to put behind the back.2- The amout of air should be really little so your bony part of your ass touche a little the chair otherwise it's hard to stay balance for a long period or every time you sit on the bag.I cary one in my bag, I have you for my office chair and one for my car when I drive long distance!Best part, if Id blow out, last time the reimburse me and offered me to order an other one!

Would not retain air so useless
I tried to send this back but it was going to cost me a fortune for shipping since it had to go to Turkey , so guess I am stuck with it even though it does not work

Good choice
I suffer from chronic back pain and as a result, I purchased this pillow so I could watch movies in theaters without as much discomfort. It's great as when deflated I can carry it around and it's not so cumbersome. It really helps. The only flaw is the amount of time it takes to inflate and deflate the cushion. Besides that 10/10

2 compartments are bendable. They should be able to inflate separately.
Simple design and no better than pillow stuffed behind your back. When inflated it isn't easily bendable to put just behind your sciatic nerve.
