I actually struggled to get these ones to go in my Croc style shoes as the clip didn't really fit. These seem more designed to clip over shoe laces, although there they do tend to flop about a bit.The light they give off is adequate at night and just enough to see to walk by, if you can keep them pointing ahead.I have a similar pair of Croc shoe lights and while those were a couple of pounds more expensive they were made of aluminium, had better designed shoe clips and more positive feeling switches. These are a disappointment in comparison but they are a little cheaper and do work okay.
