It wasn’t what it said on the tin. Has nothing to do with the colour black.

I really like Lamy products. I have a couple of fountain pens for day to day use and they are really good.One point I want to make though is that if you have a fine nib and don’t use it daily, it tends to dry out and clog. Fairly straight forward fix by removing the metal bib and soaking in warm water but takes a little effort.The colour is deep so looks really professional even when just taking notes.My only gripe is that the black ones cost more and if you prefer black it is frustrating. Don’t be confused by the Blue/Black name, these ones are definitely Blue.Blue/Black = Dark BlueBlack = Black (obviously)

Love Lamy pens and needed a supply of cartridges. This was great value and arrived in two days!

The cartridges arrived in good time ahead of other items in my Amazon order. They fit my Lamy pen and work well. Pushing them in place requires firm pressure but you get that final click and you know they’re in place.Once fitted, my pen writes really nicely. Without ink, not so much: it just makes a light impression on the page with a scratching sound. With ink fitted, it’s less of a scratching noise and the ink leaves a trace of what you have written on the page, making communication MUCH easier.No batteries included, but they’re not really needed with this product.

Like the Lamy pen. Writes well. Good flow on ink. Good sized cartridges.
