STAR WARS: Revenge of The Sith Mace Windu Electronic Lightsaber

I recently became a Star Wars fan and really wanted a cool, cheap lightsaber. I fell in love with Mace Windu's lightsaber because purple is my favorite color. I feel like people who are saying it's not very durable and it scratches easily need to remember that it is a cheap, compared to the ones for adults, and plastic kid's toy. It will break if you smack it too hard and it does not light up extraordinarily well. It's perfect for what I wanted though; it is affordable, cool, and is mostly used for display.

This is a great looking toy (as it is indeed a toy and collectable). TL; DR: overall a great addition to toys and collectables alike.The hilt (handle) is thinner than the newer lightsaber forge hilt. This one does not come apart like the forge blades, however. Its assembled in the package, only needing 3x AAA batteries.The trim, colour, and build quality is excellent. The colours go together very well, and are quite vivid! The purple telescoping blade is about 2-3 inches shorter than forge blades - a minor shock but that's inconsequential. The purple light is vivid, looks AMAZING in the dark, and projects a neat target-like shape on any surface it points to. 😆 Kinda fun!The saber sound effects are loud like the forge sabers, and the sound quality is excellent (for what we're working with).It's lightweight, our 3 year old handles it expertly and likes it better than his Yoda blade as it performs better in his tiny hands, the narrow hilt.

Sounds great, looks great, affordable, and holds up when fighting another person with another lightsaber toy. Light could be a bit stronger but isn't a huge issue.

Great quality, but I do have some complaints. First off, let me say the paint looks great on this Saber, and so does the blade when not lit up. I love the ignition switch bring part of the design (middle gold bar) and how accurate overall the hilt looks except for the awful pommel. The sound is also really good on the Saber. Now for the flaws. the pommel (bottom end) of the Saber is HORRIBLE in my opinion. They have it with what I believe is a connector for bladebuilders its hollow and has these holes. I wish they had done anything else with it even if it was rounded or flat, just not that hollow open end. The blade also does not hide inside the hilt, but sticks out a bit like the old style of sabers. The light isn't great, in the dark it looks pretty good but in the light it's not great, my 10 dollar rubies lightsaber lights up better, and has a better pommel too. Although that one is very cheap and plasticy and not ad accurate. There is also a ton of writing on one side of the lightsaber. And at under 2 feet the blade feels slightly short, but thats not really a concern. Also side note,, I expected this to be a 2006 revenge of the sith era Saber, but it says its from 2016 and has the disney logo on it which is a massively huge letdown for me, as disney has done a horrible job with the franchise. Overall great product.

Very cool, sturdy and it allows you to connect with another one and make a double blade light saber! I recommend and so do my kids!

The hilt is an almost perfect recreation of the hilt in the movie. It's fairly sturdy and not too thick, so it can be held by an adult and probably a child comfortably. I also like that it can be connected to another Blade Builders or Lightsaber Forge series lightsaber. Now for the negatives; the light could be a little brighter, the sound could be a little louder, and the batteries (three AAAs) are a pain to get in. There had to be a better way to design that.

It was just what my costume needed! It has a blade that retracts most of the way, and when you swing it the blade pops out. The glow lit the way on Halloween!!! When you hit it on a surface, it makes a crashing sound. The only slightly negative thing about it is the fact it scratches very easily, but I still like it! It is the BEST lightsaber around!!!!!

Similar to other Blade Builder light sabers (my boys now have red, green, blue, and purple). Good product. Over use will usually crack the tip off the tops of them, but that's what I expect when boys are playing with them!

This probably needs an explanation. I am a geeky Auntie with a geeky 9-year-old nephew. When we go adventuring IRL we bring lightsabers and have grand battles. This makes for awesome family photos in front of waterfalls and near those weird art installations scattered around cities. It has grown until everyone in the family just brings a lightsaber when we go out. We had every colour of lightsaber except purple so, for Mother's Day, Grandma got her favourite coloured, whooshing clashing, lightsaber. NO ONE is allowed to touch it except for her or she will go Sith on your ass.
