Great self defense tool for the ladies in my family. Shipped fast and was exactly what I wanted.

Well made, exactly as expected. Made from machined aluminum, so very light weight. It's also just the right size to fit your hand, and functions exactly as this item is intended to function, if you know what I mean. I had a police officer look at this, and he didn't know what it was, so if you're concerned about that, you're probably OK (please note that this is not formal advice - it's just an anecdote).

Working well so far. Replacement for a similar Monadnock item. 2-for-1 pack is a good value.

This is a little bigger and heavier than I expected it to be, but my bad for not paying closer attention. I bought this after reading a book about what to do when someone is trying to kill you. Spoiler alert - you must attack them and it was suggested this was the way to go. Since purchasing this, I have not had anyone try to kill me, or kidnap me, or even really aggressively push past me to get to the avocados in the HEB so I cannot speak to whether it works or not. Also I should note that it does not come with any instructions on how to use it to attack anyone so. you'll have to get your own book on what to do. I read the book and I can't say i even remember anything much except that the top of the foot is a very sensitive place. So since it's pretty bulky and heavy and all I remember in terms of self defense is the foot stomping part, I do not carry it with me on a keychain. It is soooo not keychain size. So I'm counting on statistical probabilities to protect me from being murdered more so than carrying this and using it push through the bones of the foot of whoever is attempted murdering me. (Not to digress, but wouldn't this life saving strategy be way more dependent upon murderer's shoe choices than you'd want it to be?). Now I got a D in statistics but I think the odds of avoiding serial killers are pretty good. So you probably don't need this although it is a fine product. Unless you are the type of person that has the effect of enraging those around you. So for the right person, I feel this is a fine product, likely to do whatever damage you wish it to do to the foot of anyone wearing cloth sneakers or sandals.

I am an martial arts instructor and I took a class in these. In the end I added one to my Keychain. I thought it would be clumsy in the pocket but this works pretty well. It also makes the Keychain fun to sling around like nunchucks when no one is looking. The included clips are good quality.
