It’s Shimano so it’s reliable
Shimano quality is reliable and good value. This 105 level chain is my standard go to chain and I get probably 2 thousand miles + out of them if I keep them clean and well lubed which is decent durability for a basic consumable.

Good, genuine product cheaper than anywhere else
At £20.99 it was much cheaper than anywhere else you can find in UK. Packaging was closely inspected and compared to online to ensure it was real as lots of fake products out there. Cutting chain and installation with quick link was easy and quick.

Brought this as my previous chains had worn out and the quick links were included.Sized it correctly with the old chain and worked really well. I did clean the oil off and waxed the chain. Good price and delivered on time. What more do you want.

I wanted genuine SHIMANO, The old chain had no split link so I was prudently invested in some GOOD tools ... a chain link removal tool, chain pliers and chain wear tool with hooks, otherwise it would have been a pig. SO now I can decide when to change my chain and not be "sold" by the bike shop and pay FULL price, As I have three bikes that is will save quite a bit. Changing the chain is quite easy after watching a few online videos.

Hochwertige Kette ohne jeglichen Tadel, klare Empfehlung fürs MTB, ohne lange zu überlegen
Top-Kette fürs MTB, klare Empfehlung. Shimano hält lange , läuft leise und laufruhig auch bei extremen Übersetzungen (kleinstes Ritzel auf größtes Kettenblatt) und springt auch im Rücklauf nicht ab. Ich habe meine vorherige MTB Shimano HG600 nach 8J trotz sportlicher Nutzung in den Bergen mal gewechselt, sie war laut Messlehre noch nicht ganz runter, wenn auch etwas gestreckter. Ich hatte für den Kettenwechsel (leider) erst ein günstigeres No-name Produkt mit überwiegend 4+ Bewertungen verwendet, im Vergleich zur Shimano deutliche Unterschiede, sehr viel lauter (ja, sie war definitiv richtig installiert) und sprang im Rückwärtslauf bei extremen Übersetzungen ab, komisch. Mit der Shimano ist es wieder top, kein Abspringen, leiser Lauf. Ich würde jedem empfehlen, die Shimano Kette beizubehalten. die 10-20 EUR Unterschied sind es nicht wert, die Kette hält einige Jahre. Hinweis: Ich würde immer schauen, dass die Kette mit den aktuellen Empfehlungen bzgl Bestimmung der Kettenlänge konform ist, und dreimal überprüfen, dass die avisierte Länge wirklich genau richtig ist.

Shimano has its own reputation; however, this chain comes with two quick links that I could not use (pretty hard to close). Tere are better brands cheaper than this.
