My husband uses these when his sugar drops and there’s nothing else available. It spikes up his sugar within minutes. It’s a bit expensive so we leave it for emergency cases but it’s very effective. He says the orange one is the best flavor. Easy to open the package, easy to swallow since it’s a thin gel.

I purchased these pouches for my in laws as a healthier alternative to candy when their glucose levels drop. My in laws love the taste, say it spikes the sugar within 5 minutes, and keeps them at a healthy level. Pouches are small enough to store in the purse or keep it in your pocket when you are on the go. They are a little pricey, but it's worth it. We are constantly reordering and make sure we stick to this brand.

I tend to have candy or dextrose tabs around to help with lows, but with candy it’s hard to just snack on it while I’m out. I like the dextrose tabs, but they can be bulky. These pouches are something that tastes good and gets my blood sugar up quickly, especially since the gel is easy to keep in your cheek for quicker absorption. I’m not worried about someone else using these to treat a hypo either, they wouldn’t have to figure out how to get me to eat a gel. I had a bad low this last week and I saw pretty quick results from one of the packages. I’ll definitely keep them on me in the future

These are great for treating low blood sugars without the spike afterwards. The taste is fine, but I don’t really like the consistency of the gel. I do like them better than glucose tablets.

Ordinarily, 15g of glucose is 15g of glucose. Tablets are great but if you don't have a liquid available to wash them down with, recovery might take longer than you want. That's where these packets save the day. Allow 15-20 minutes for noticeable impact on BG levels. The only issue is the seemingly high cost which deducts one star. On the other hand, when your blood sugar is dropping fast and you are in the middle of nowhere, any price is just fine.

I am a type one diabetic. Have been for 22 years. These are the best because it isnt as bad for the teeth, like skittles or any similar. It also works to raise sugar fast to avoid hypoglycemia!!

The orange flavor isn’t very orangey; sort of gross, but you can get it down without gagging. LOL Package is easy to open, even when experiencing critical sugar law. Product is easy and quick to get out. Packaging holds up well when carrying around for weeks/months.

When I go low, sometimes as low as 40's or 30's, I would often have to take up to 8 glucose tabs to get my BG to go higher. Then often would go too high hours later. With Transcend I can usually take just 1 packet and low symptoms start to subside. No going high hours later. Pleasant tasting, easy to take, and I'm so glad to have found Transcend. Super easy to carry with.
