The headband itself is a velvet covered foam and is lovely and soft. It stretches to your head size and would fit most adults I would think. I use it as part of my skincare routine to keep my hair of my face whilst I wash and take makeup off etc. It holds my hair in place well and is easy to use and with the pink soft clouds look, it is cute. The hairband dries quickly if it gets wet whilst in use. It is comfortable to wear and does not dig into my head or ears.
