I have started taking this Spirulina and I am feeling so much better. I had read that taking Spirulina could help make allergy symptoms milder so I decided to take it. The first time I took it I did not like the taste but from what I had read this is was the normal with pure Spirulina. I then decided to spread the suggested dosage over many different drinks. Doing it this way the taste is much milder. I had also read that you could put the powder into capsules and my next purchase will be a capsule packing machine. :-) As far as the benefits I have received have been nothing short of amazing. During this time last summer I had to constantly take anti-histamines to even function as a person. While taking this on a regular basis, I have noticed that my allergies have been so much milder. My eyes are not as itchy and my nose doesn't drip as much but best of all is that I don't have to take as much medicine as I used to. I am hopeful that if I continue supplementing with this wonderful product, my allergies will continue to get milder. I will buy this again and would recommend it to anybody.

Good product

This smells and tastes like someone dehydrated a frothy, kelp-strewn beach. The intense shade of green makes this look like powered paint that you'd mix up, and guarantees it's amazing for your insides (since almost no one gets enough dark green vegetables in their diet -- and no, peas don't count as dark green -- surprise!). Strangely, it acts like paint too, sticking tenaciously to anything and everything having the misfortune of coming in contact with it. After casually scooping a few helpings of this into a glass, you may not think you got any on the counter, but I guarantee you did, and swiping the seemingly clean counter with the palm of your hand will be enough to show the rich green color on both you and the counter. The trick though will be getting this past your nose and taste buds. I like weird things, but even I couldn't eat this in any kind of normal shake, banana smoothie, etc. I tried many formulations of drinks and pastes until I finally hit on one I like, and like it very much too: Spirulina, tahini, bee pollen powder, and powdered sugar mixed into a peanut-butter consistency. Probably replacing the powdered sugar with honey would be even better but I was trying various dry mixes at the time. Best luck!
