AMAZON SHOULD REMOVE THIS LISTING IMOI am afraid I didn’t read the other reviews before I bought this poster which was to be used for a community nature trail event. Complete waste of money as it is useless as an educational tool. How difficult can it be to compile an accurate chart of common British Birds with the plethora of online references available? As others have pointed out, the ‘woodpecker’ nomenclature is both useless as a generic term - we have 2 species of woodpecker in the British Isles, the image portrayed is neither but an American Pilated Woodpecker species, as is the Corvid (American Crow?) labelled ‘Blackbird’. There are several other American birds not native to the UK and several species that are indeed UK birds but incorrectly named as well as other glaring mistakes.Very cross that this is still being marketed as a ‘Know Your Birds’ teaching/educational tool for people to learn about British Birds, despite the reviews stating that it is clearly otherwise - the people that compiled it clearly DO NOT KNOW their birds! As someone that works in the field of ornithology and conservation, I am appalled that this is being sold on Amazon when it so obviously does not match the description of the product.I shall not remove my review on the basis of any incentive to do so, it stands as written.
