Beautiful picture excellent quality puzzel, fab to do

I have loved teh HOP puzzles over the use mainly due to three reasons - they have lovely bright, busy images, the pieces are shaped so you get the much needed challenge and the pieces are of a good size to hold so I was very pleased to get this for reviewing. As always it did not disappoint. All the pieces were very well cut and they fit perfectly. The puzzle did not have any missing pieces. Was absolute fun to make. Only issue is the puzzle dust. I really wish if there was something that can be done about it as my husband is allergic to dust and we have to be very careful about it when making a puzzle. Overall. I would say that the Big Hop 500 puzzles are really good. 500 piece count is perfect if you are looking for a challenge but do not want to spend too much time (compared to a 1000 piece puzzle) in making it. Great puzzle, good price and quick delivery.

This is a great and fun jigsaw puzzle with larger than average pieces. I love this jigsaw puzzle which comes shrink wrapped and inside the sturdy box there is a bag of jigsaw pieces along with a sheet of paper that allows you to send off for any missing pieces as well a catalogue of all the other big piece jigsaw puzzles available. The puzzle pieces are good quality and have a lovely smooth finish. Even though the pieces are a little larger than most adult jigsaw puzzles, there's still a lot of pieces and the puzzle feels like a fun one for both adults to do as well as children. The image on the puzzle is very fun, I love the detail that goes into this picture, all the animals interacting, the people and the details you can spot in each part of the picture (love that squirrel especially). There's something so fun about the picture and having bigger than usual puzzle peices doesn't take away from the enjoyment, and instead is refreshing as sometimes it can get frustrating to have such tiny pieces to work with. Overall a lovely good quality jigsaw puzzle for anyone to do and with a lovely image that is charming to look at with so much fun detail to see!

This jigsaw comes in a sturdy box and you'll find the jigsaw pieces inside which are sealed in a plastic baggie. There is also a leaflet included with instructions on how to get replacement pieces if there is some missing or you happen to misplace or damage any. As long as the jigsaw is still in production, you can order replacement pieces which is really handy and is nice to see. The jigsaw pieces have a good size to them which makes them easy to handle and they fit together well. The puzzle difficulty is made easier with the larger pieces as you can determine the colours and narrow down the pieces that may fit. There is also some irregular shaped pieces in here too which mixes things up a little. I've not seen this before as jigsaw shapes often follow a theme, which these do with a the odd differently shaped piece in there. My father in law is enjoying doing this puzzle and he says it's a good one...

This is one of those puzzles with a lot going on in the picture, and that’s exactly the kind we like;. This particular one is Horses and Hounds, and is a Big 500-piece puzzle. The pieces are well cut, and larger than normal, so it suites everyone, but especially anyone who has difficulty holding the smaller jigsaw pieces or has poor eyesight. We usually do 1000-piece jigsaws, which take a while to complete, but we are happy to do a 500-piece and this is a good one. This jigsaw is quite detailed with vibrant colours. All House of Puzzles products are sustainably made from premium quality FSC Certified board, with plant-based inks used on all product packaging. The only downside of this puzzle is that it doesn’t have a separate poster to work from, just the picture on the lid, which can be difficult when two people are doing the puzzle together. Even so, it’s a great puzzle and we’ll be getting more of them.

I don't really like the design, but to be honest I don't get puzzles for the design. It has become something my wife and I do together with a glass of wine and with the TV off - almost a throwback to lockdown time when we needed to find alternatives to sitting in front of the TV every evening. This puzzle is ideal for us and something we have started and will probably take us a few evenings to do - once done, we will pop it back into the box, but it is ideal for a few evenings/hours of time together without being too challenging or too easy. Good value on that basis.
