Terrible app
Light is pretty good, but the app is awful.

Great light
Perfect light for my nano tank good coverage all round and easy to put together. The app is a little pedantic to get going but managed to get it setup eventually.

Energy-efficient and feature-rich
In my home aquarium, lighting is crucial not just for aesthetic but also for the health of the plants and fish. This light’s programmable features, like simulating sunrise and sunset, have not only made my tank look more natural but also seem to have a positive impact on the tank’s inhabitants. The energy efficiency is noticeable on my electricity bill, which is always a welcome benefit. It’s a solid choice for anyone serious about their aquarium setup.

The light is perfect but the phone app is really poor and hard to use.
The media could not be loaded. I had high expectations for this fish tank light but I'm disappointed. The light itself is easy to fit on the fish tank and it's length adjustable which is great. It's lightweight and the power cord is long enough to reach the nearest power outlet and it also comes with T5 and T8 adapters so no complaints here. The main issue for me is the usability of the light. There are no buttons or a main switch on it and you will need to set it up and control it using your mobile phone. The app (Aqua smart LED) is not user friendly at all and once it detects the light Bluetooth you'll be redirected to the main menu. You will then need to create presets for the light modes and when you're done and want to apply the light mode the app will just crash (tested it on Android and iOS devices).I eventually managed to make it work (see the video attached) and the light seems to be working fine. It's very bright, doesn't overheat and all the light modes (sunrise, sunshine, clouds, rain, etc) look amazing. In my opinion, the light is perfect once you set it app but the app is hard to use and not user friendly at all. I tried to adjust some settings and it crashed again.Overall, I think it's very overpriced for what you get (as per my review so far the light is perfect but the app is quite bad and makes the whole thing not worth it).

Great light, good features, poor user app
This aquarium light is a versatile option that, in theory, combines functionality with ease of use. It's adjustable for a broad rage of tanks sizes and includes T5 and T8 adapters, making it suitable for various tank setups, whether freshwater or saltwater. There are some nice features - dynamic modes like sunrise, sunshine, clouds, and rain - which enhance the aesthetic appeal of the aquarium and also, if used correctly, promote the health of your flora and fauna. It's bright, and low energy and has a good light spectrum which supports plant growth and enhances fish colour.I'm a total sucker for app controlled electronics, so I really wanted to like this. In theory, the Bluetooth functionality allows for convenient control via a mobile app, offering customization options for lighting schedules. However, that's also the weakest feature of this light setup, and it just isn't very well implemented. Like others, I've found the app interface to be really fiddly and challenging, it crashes intermittently, sometimes needing a force close. The main issue, though, is that you have to use the app because the light has no physical buttons. So, the success of this product rests on the app, and it's just not a good enough experience. Once I managed to get it all set up it looks great, but it's just such a poor user experience it's hard to recommend.Given the issues with the app, even though this is from a trusted brand and feels like a premium light, I can't help feeling it's a bit overpriced.

....
This works as well as my old branded [aka pricier] ones did. Not a single criticism so far.I'll update my review if I ever experience any issues.

Not for me
The media could not be loaded. From the old to the new. This product can be screwed to the underside of most lids with enough room out there. Considering it's to replace the tube lids, then it's probably all of them. You need to pair it up with the app to get the most out of it, and it also has T5/8 adapters to retro fit this unit in their place, or so I believe as I cannot test this out sorry.I do know that the end sliders were incredibly tight to pull out. I don't personally like the feel of this unit, although to be fair I haven't seen it at its best with the app.Would I pay the asking 73 quid. No, and that's the cheapest in their line.I've seen way better options than this fiddly product for less money and more features to be fair.
