When it initially arrived it was poorly packaged and was damaged upon delivery, the metal spike had snapped off completely.In fairness to the company, there was no discussion over this and a replacement was immediately offered and that arrived only two days later (with substantially improved packaging, I might add).The umbrella itself is pretty and does what you want. My issue is with the clamp. It is constructed from very inferior plastic and has very little strength. Take great care not to over tighten the bracket or it will almost certainly snap. I also think the picture is very miss-leading. If you look closely at it it shows the blue section of the bar slightly bent, indicating that there is a certain degree of flexibility to adjust the angle of the umbrella. On the two umbrellas I received there was no flexibility at all, that blue section was simply a continuation of the metal pole with blue plastic covering it. I found that disappointing.
